I just moved here from Brooklyn, home of some of the best Caribbean food! So I've been looking for somewhere that I can taste my roots and hear me when I say this restaurant can compete with the big dogs. Authentic and delicious. Alot of food for your dollar make you say holla. J*** is banging, oxtails slaying and the Curry not playing. Go get you some!
Food was so good that I felt compelled to write a quick review. I've tried a few West Indian spots in the area, but this one is the best by far. Everything tastes like they took their time and effort to make it right. Portions are generous, even small ones. My pic shows Red Snapper Fish Large, J*** Chicken Small and Ox tail Small. Once a month I try to eat something I've never tried before. I was scrolling my phone looking for something different and I found this place. I have never had oxtail before, so I can't speak to authenticity, but it tasted good and the rice and beans were just the way I like them. I could live on those rice and beans. The food was good.
