“As usual the food and drinks were delicious. Unfortunately the waiter was rude. He screwed up my order. Then came over and twice asked me to admit I ordered something I didn’t. The waitresses were nice as always. Nothing was done by him. He did not apologize. Did not even offer to comp a drink or something. Not that I was looking for something free. He didn’t care. Really sad. At least the waitresses apologized.“

“Flowerfield was the perfect wedding venue for us, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day. The grounds were absolutely stunning, creating the most stunning backdrop for our day. We had the ceremony onsite outside at the gazebo. So gorgeous! The atrium was a standout feature, offering a unique and magical space that set it apart from other venues. It truly made the entire experience feel special, not at all cookie-cutter. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the grounds and the food in particular. It was delicious and beautifully presented, making the cocktail hour and reception even more memorable. But what made Flowerfield truly exceptional was the incredible team that supported us every step of the way. Patricia, our event coordinator, was an absolute gem—always available to answer any questions and guide us with such grace. Rebecca was so attentive as she helped me and my bridesmaids in the bridal cottage all morning, making sure we had everything we needed. Debbie and Andy were by my side the entire day, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Andy, was a class act—so professional, delightful, and diligent. He made sure every detail was perfect and added such a polished, warm touch to our whole experience. Debbie was my rock, keeping me calm and grounded through all the excitement! She made sure I had everything I needed throughout the night. Making sure my makeup and dress were OK. Every detail was handled with care and professionalism, making our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more. We cannot recommend Flowerfield enough for anyone looking for a beautiful venue with a dedicated and thoughtful team!“

“Definitely 5-star service. I hired Up in Smoke for a family reunion in my back yard. All my pre-event dealings were with Jeff. He was so easy to work with. Willing to accommodate anything I requested. And since this was my first time using them I had tons of questions along the way. Jeff always got back to me immediately!! The menu had more than enough options to choose from and he even added chicken nuggets and fries since we had a ton of little kids. Worked with me on the pricing. Very fair. We had Alex and Bryan as our grilled and they worked no-stop for the entire time. Cleanup left not a trace. And I had tons of leftovers so plenty of food. Everyone was raving about the food! I highly recommend and would use them again in a heartbeat!! (Jeff also recommended wait staff who are not affiliated with them but have worked together often and they were great, too!) First time I’ve hosted a party where I was totally relaxed and got to visit with all the guests and enjoy myself.“

“The Off-Premise Catering team at Lessings went above and beyond to make our wedding the best it could possibly be. My family and I were blown away by the efforts of Steve, Estee, Barbara, and the rest of the team. Making arrangements was a breeze, and from the second I met Steve, I felt so much more at ease about planning The Big Day. Our off-premise venue meant our wedding would mostly take place outdoors, so I had a lot of concerns regarding bad weather. Steve and the team have seen it all, and their experience assured me that they would make it a great party regardless of any foul weather – and that proved to be true. When the wind and rain hit our wedding, they were all prepared and it turned out not to be a big deal.

Not only did Lessing’s make planning the wedding so much easier, but they did an outstanding job on The Big Day. The food was absolutely incredible – I couldn’t believe it was from an off-site kitchen! The staff’s attention to detail was very impressive and everyone was so kind and seemed to genuinely want the day to be the best it could be.

Not overly sweet, thick challah bread, and a hint of high quality vanilla. My order was ready when I arrived and packed very well. The deli was clean and attractive inside. “Great Scilian pizza and a chicken roll for lunch today. 7.26.23 Garlic shakers were all crusted up from humidity, that's normal, but what not normal was a request for fresh shaker and was brought pepper instead. Two recommendations first add rice this time of year to help with that clumping. Second show your counter person the difference between pepper and garlic.“
