“Our office catered food for a co-worker and his family who lost a loved one. We didn’t realize that the food needed to meet certain dietary requirements prior to ordering. Because we did not want to let the food go to waste, we wanted to have it delivered to a local food bank. The Deli arranged for it to be delivered in memory of our lost one. In addition, they improved the menu by combining their cold and hot food packages. Furthermore, they chose to add to our donation by donating themselves in the memory of our lost one. Obviously, we can’t speak for the food, but we can certainly praise this Deli’s customer service, compassion, and exemplary effort to go above and beyond. “My husband and I can happily say our wedding at Jericho Terrace was our favorite wedding we have ever been to! The venue is stunning with plenty of spots for photo opportunities, delicious food, and exceptional staff. The interior appearance was something that was very important to us since we were having both the ceremony and reception indoors given it was early April. Everyone we have come across is professional and passionate about providing the best experience possible. Of note, the maître d's, Raul and Anthony, continuously checked up on us throughout the evening and our bridal attendants, Alison and Kayla, were so caring and stayed proactive before we even knew what we needed. “In doing an Aperol Spritz themed bridal shower for my daughter we rented the Aperol spritz tricycle from Dolce & Gelato. I started contacting Gino Parente the minute my daughter got engaged.? I’m an earlier planner. Gino was so responsive and so kind immediately. Nothing was a problem for him. He is unbelievable with communicating, I called him at least 15 times. ?. He takes the time out to speak to you as if you are his only customer. A truly professional man to work with . On the day of the shower the tricycle was decorated beautifully with fake flowers and the bar attendant Katherine was fantastic! My daughter and our guests had an absolute blast getting drinks from the cart and taking photos. So much fun! I’ll definitely be using Gino’s company Dolce & Gelato again! A truly wonderful experience working with him!“

“Mystic the band was great. Wasn’t happy that website for Plattdeutsche said $5 for cover fee and they raised the price to $8 at the window. So my guy paid an additional $6. Isn’t this illegal? Change the price on the website before you charge customers and add on an additional $3 per person. Parking also was difficult because there are signs all over the streets no parking. If Mystic comes back I’ll go but won’t go anymore on principle of the raised price without it matching the website and their cashiers window. Unfair. And many people were complaining about this.“

“Solid brunch in an unexpected location! I've visited Me & You a few times over the years, as my parents and their friends are quite fond of the place. My most recent visit was during a super busy Sunday brunch rush. We made a reservation but still had to wait a bit. As you could imagine, the place was packed with both boozy brunch crowd AND families with small kids. I had the club sandwich, an item I don't normally go for. It was to offset the sweetness of all of the other entrees we ordered. It was a hefty sandwich, and all of the proportion for the filling was just right. I loved the crunchy sweet potato fries. I had a bit of the blueberry lemon ricotta crepe also. It was sweet but not too sweet as the lemon curd and the blueberries added a nice acidity. Their crepe is not what I think of as crepe, a bit on the thin pancake side than a true French crepe. I've had their other breakfasts before, like the eggs Benedict (ok, nothing to write home about) and the French toast during weekdays, much less busy times. But I felt the food was better despite the Sunday rush. I haven't had drinks here, but they look good, and plenty of tables were drinking it up. The location and the hospitality give them bonus points. Bethpage Station is a skip away. The staff is always friendly. It has the Greek diner vibe without being too old-fashioned. It's nice to have a robust breakfast-y and more lunch-y options both available. Also, they very nicely brought out free dessert for my friend's birthday, though it was clear they were past closing time, and we were some of the last patrons left!“
