“In doing an Aperol Spritz themed bridal shower for my daughter we rented the Aperol spritz tricycle from Dolce & Gelato. I started contacting Gino Parente the minute my daughter got engaged.? I’m an earlier planner. Gino was so responsive and so kind immediately. Nothing was a problem for him. He is unbelievable with communicating, I called him at least 15 times. ?. He takes the time out to speak to you as if you are his only customer. A truly professional man to work with . On the day of the shower the tricycle was decorated beautifully with fake flowers and the bar attendant Katherine was fantastic! My daughter and our guests had an absolute blast getting drinks from the cart and taking photos. So much fun! I’ll definitely be using Gino’s company Dolce & Gelato again! “We had our wedding at Glen Island, and we cannot recommend it highly enough! The venue is gorgeous (we got married on a cloudy, rainy day in January and it was still breathtaking), and the amazing staff went above and beyond to give us a calm, perfectly coordinated wedding day. From the moment we first inquired about the venue, Rodney guided us through every step of the process, responding to our questions and concerns so calmly and efficiently (even when we had to make a ton of logistical changes the week of the wedding). On the wedding day, Maria, Stephanie, and Rodney were all so incredibly attentive and helpful; I didn’t have to worry about a single thing my entire wedding day because they took care of everything, from reworking the timing when I ran late to carrying our bags out to the car at the end of the night. They even did the bustle on my dress and made sure I had all the best food and desserts to take home! I cannot thank them enough for giving me the calm wedding day of my dreams!We also had some unique cultural and religious needs as Orthodox Jews, and the whole team was very knowledgeable about and sensitive to our potential concerns. “Made a reservation here for restaurant week. Apparently didn't need one. The place has its own parking lot with about a dozen spots. We entered the building which took us into the bar, which was bustling. The dining room was quaint, with some really nice booths and a fireplace that should have been lit. Our server was a good looking young man, pleasant, not overbearing with a sense of humor. We opted to include an additional appetizer of baked clams to our meal, along with the crab cake and winter salad, which I forgot to take photos of. My friend opted for the lamb chops while I had the branzino piccata. Yummy, although the menu never stated that the fish was served over a shrimp risotto. (I'm allergic to shrimp). Only 1 bone in the fish, so I was lucky. Our dessert consisted of tiramisu and rainbow cookie cheesecake. I was "fortunate" to get the last piece although not very cheesecake-y. All in all we had a nice dinner and will maybe return for another meal.“

When beginning the venue search we knew we wanted a waterfront venue with an outdoor space for the ceremony and a suitable indoor option in case the weather didn't cooperate.
