“I have never had fresher food at a deli for individual meals and even the catered food. Nor have I ever seen a deli look or smell cleaner- I guess that's the owners nursing background. I highly recommend the kale salad rice pudding, catered heroes, salads.... I've never had party Heroes catered with such large portions of side salads. Simply da best“

“Sorry for long post but I have to applaud the owner of Chicos deli in Ronkonkama. Last Friday my wife went and ordered an $8 tray of food on her lunch break. Food was delicious but on Saturday we noticed on her bank app that she was charged $72. We went back to Chicos to rectify this problem and unfortunately the employee was not able to help us and said come back on Monday when the owner(Chico) is there. Thinking we were gonna have an issue rectifying this , my wife walked in and speaks with Chico and he wa a all apologies and gave a full refund and paid for her food that day. A real gentleman and I wish more businesses can follow this example with such great customer service . Thank you Chicos Deli on veteran's highway in Ronkonkama. Well today my review changed, this are the portions in a already reduce serving to go tray
Shame, greed is all over Us.
A watery sauce, I know the picture don’t justified but believe me portions are smaller.
I guess is their Saturday special, com eat here and leave hungry just 11,75 one entry and 2 sides, come one cookies you better than this.“

“I have been getting egg sandwiches from 117 for a couple of years now. We already know that no one makes a better egg sandwich for multiple reasons BUT LET ME TELL YOU. I just got a chicken cutlet sandwich for the first time from them and i feel obligated to let everyone know it was HANDS DOWN THE BEST CHICKEN CUTLET SANDWICH I HAVE EVER ATE IN MY LIFE. This whole time i always got egg sandwiches and today for lunch i went with the cutlet sandwich. I still can’t believe how good this was, and i have tried almost every egg sandwich and chicken cutlet in the islips. I promise you there’s no one that makes them better.“

“Bought a turkey club hero and was surprised at how big the sandwich was for the price. $12 and i almost had to unhinge my jaw to fit it. Service was prompt not only for me but every who came thru the door. No one waited to be served. The restaurant was clean and well organized. Plenty to chose from on their hot buffet .. and fresh too. Good spot.“

“A landmark in Islip! New owner John and staff are awesome. Kleibers Deli has improved in so many ways but still has that down home country charm. The food is amazing!! So happy to have them so close to home. Love walking there for breakfast with my dogs who are always welcome and treated to some bacon every time we go. From small snacks, sandwiches to catering Kleibers is a hidden gem you’ll definitely want to try!!“
