“My boyfriend and I stopped in for a quick breakfast on the go! I had an everything bagel with cream cheese and he had a plain bagel with butter. I thought my bagel was very good. It also didn't have a ton of cream cheese like most bagel places do. The bagel was also very fresh. My boyfriend said his bagel was good. For two bagels with schmear and a Snapple it was under $10. I feel that's pretty reasonable. Staff was friendly.“

“After drinking to much the night before while at work I was looking for a deli. This place was a site for sore eyes. When I walked in I was instantly greeted and the lady took my order, within 5 minutes I had my bacon egg and cheese. Very generous with the bacon and the eggs were cooked extremely well. “I've been coming to this deli for about a year now and somehow after having the bacon, egg, and cheese for just about every day in the summer, they never get old. They are absolutely delicious everyday and every one of my friends who come here as well and get other items on the menu say the same. “I would my rate my experience with Zara's Deli and Bagel with 10 stars if I could. I organized an event and reached out to Zara's deli to cater. From the first moment I spoke with Lev, the owner, I knew we found the best place! Lev is professional and really cares about the quality of food and it's presentation. The bagels had just been baked before they were delivered, the fruit was fresh and at perfect ripeness, muffins and pastries were scrumptious and the coffee was fresh. Lev made sure we had best array of food and drinks for our guests and was extremely helpful with the set up once he delivered. His customer service was cheerful and outstanding! “Every time I come here I wish I lived closer! I come here occasionally for lunch when I visit customers in this area and it’s one of the best delis I’ve ever been to. There is a big menu with a lot of great choices and creative sandwiches and the food has been excellent every time I’ve come here!On top of that, this place is like the Cheers of delis. There must be a lot of local businesses and the “regulars” come in and the deli workers all know them by name and know their orders and it has a real nice family and friendly feel to it. Today I forgot to ask for my sandwich to be hot so I asked the guy behind the counter to microwave it and he instead took it to the grill in the back because he didn’t want to ruin a good sandwich by microwaving it. “Never been here before but reviews were good. Ordered pickup, The salad case looked great. I asked for one of the prosciutto sandwiches and add eggplant cutlets. Which they obliged very nicely. I wish they had warmed the eggplant though because it was very cold. Also the ciabatta bread was very chewy and smelled a little musty, I checked for mold but didn't see anything, but the smell turned me off unfortunately. We've gotten pastries from here that were well received. Very clean and well presented establishment.“

“I've been getting my salads from Lake Deli for many years. I use to live in Medford now in Bohemia. It's over 45 minutes round trip but this is the only place that has the best salads I've tried other Delis. Just not the same. My sister loved them too whenever I went to Pennsylvania I had to bring 2 or more lbs.of potatoes“
