“Called Friday: "are you open Monday?" "Yes til 3pm". On Monday: check Google, open til 3pm. Drove 25 mins one way, get there at 2:21 to find a lovely hand written sign "closing at 2pm"... 8 people very disappointed ? you can have the 5 stars back the next time I'm able to make the long trip.“

“My hubs grew up in Mastic and no trip home is complete until we get a TJ's Hero. We often get complete a breakfast run and a lunch or dinner run - sometimes in the same day! WE love TJ's it's been his favorite since his HS days and it never disappoints! Quality meats, excellent breads and friendly/awesome service will keep us coming back again and again. PLEASE TJ's open a satellite location in PA we would come all the time! LOL!“

“Busy place when we visited for weekday lunch. What a selection of sandwiches. Fast service, fresh ingredients, great tasting hand-helds. Even the small sides of fries & tots are large servings. Mostly take-out orders. Couple of tables in and couple out. It's going to take a while to sample even half of their extensive menu, but I look forward to it.“

“Stopped for a quick bite on the way to an appointment. Let’s just say it was the best stop ever! Service was amazing! Food was amazing! Just was going to grab egg sandwich’s! Which by the way come with homemade ice tea, lemonade or oj, come to find out a very nice gentleman had come out from the back and said next time we come we need to try the empanadas! He had just made them and well we can’t say no to an empanada fresh made!!! Well let’s just say they barely made it to the car, had to go back in and let him know how good they were!! Everything was delicious and we will most definitely be back!! Filling and delicious!!“

“I went there around 12:30 or so. The food looked delicious. The fish, the chicken, the beef steak, it was all fresh and well made and smelled really good. Their pupusas are good too. $3.00 compared to some other places where they are $2.75 the size of the pupusas was decent too. It didn’t fit properly in the container because it was larger lol.“

“The roast beef supreme hero is great. Also I like all the Islander photos and baseball players on the wall. The outdoor bench is great for nice weather. Good counter help as well.“

“I'm not from that area but whenever I am in that area due to work or visiting friends... I stopped here for breakfast mostly.. The food is fresh and delicious. The guys and gals behind the counter are quite comedians sometimes.. all around great place I highly recommend. The deli business dying breed. Get it while you can.“

“This place prepares meals all day long and serves them from a hot steam table. They have all kinds of items from yellow rice, Spanish rice, chicken, wings, egg sandwiches, regular deli sandwiches, french fries grilled cheese sandwiches, steak and cheese sandwiches you name it pretty much they’ll make it for you.

They have a small Mini Mart. There are Spanish oriented items there but everything looks fresh. The produce looks great. The shelves are fully stocked, and the floors are all clean.

The staff is very friendly and they speak English and Spanish. I stop at this place every time I take the Port Jefferson ferry over to this area.“

“My Husband bought me a bacon egg and cheese on a roll. Eggs were scrambled bacon well done and the roll was fresh, DELISH! A must try!!“

“Citarelli's is fantastic! They carry a great range of items and have an incredibly friendly staff. Their produce is fresh and the cookies are favorites of our family.“

“Very cool and nice in here. I go here weekly. Best things is the hashbrowns and empenatas (not sure if I spelled that correctly lol.) They also carry beef bacon and beef salami which is halal and kosher the salami. Its boards head so its not some off brand cheap shit the salami.
I also had a chop cheese here which I thought was very interesting it was basically just a regular cheeseburger chopped up.
My regular for lunch is a BLTEC (beacon, lettuce, tomato, egg and cheese) next time I might get pastrami instead of bacon or I like a hungry man on a sub/hero in the morning because I'm a very hungry man in the morning lol.“

“Best Spanish Food in the area. Fresh, delicious and good variety. Nice little selection of South American Fruits and Vegetables and bakery items also. And if your looking for the best sandwiches you'll find those there as well.. The owners is friendly and seems to really care about his customers and his business. “Omg. Quick Stop is under new management/partnership and there a noticeable change! A few months ago back I gave this place a horrible review because the food was old and other issues. I continued to frequent the store for non food items. Lately I noticed a change! New staff, a super clean store and the smell of freshly cooked Spanish/Mexican cuisine. So today I bought some chicken & potatoes that was in a delicious tomato sauce, white rice and plantains. All of which were freshly made and delicious! A large tray is only $8 but I stopped him from filling it as it would have been too much for me! I went into the store just before lunch so more food was still being prepared to be put in the trays. They also serve breakfast (fresh) and will have dinner options soon. Their prices are more than fair and cheaper than others. The staff are friendly and courteous (I was so busy taking it all in that I didn’t get anyone’s name). The guy in the photo let me try a sample of a food that I’ve never had before and it was delicious! Stop by their store and see for yourself. There are a new variety of foods, snacks and drinks to choose from as well as some household goods! Good Eats, Good People & Good atmosphere make for a good experience! He said there’s more to come and I’m looking forward to it! My new favorite place!“

“Small bodega with an variety of latina food. I have been here about 4 times the food has always been good, affordable and better than most others I have tried. The owner has always been pleasant as well as the cook. My issue is that they try to be nice and helpful but for vape stuff, they don't have enough understanding of the nicotine side of things . Tbh, lately it's felt like they only see $$$ and don't really care much even when your a regular customer...they seam they're gonna sell you anything even if they don't understand the product themselves and that's a cause for concern in a vape, smoke shop“

“Not a sit down place but my sister and I are traveling through Long Island from Queens. Their bacon egg n cheese is fantastic, better than my local Bodega. My sister had a tuna sandwich which was fresh. The rolls were fresh. We happened to grab the one little table setup inside. Its quiet and spacey enough to eat in peace. Grab spot to grab a quick lunch.“
