“There was a New York Rangers rally downtown Brooklyn @ Albee Square. My husband & I went to get lunch @ a Subway Sandwich Shop, but it was more of a take out as opposed to having tables & chairs. Otherwise, everything tasted good. By the way, this Subway takes the company coupons.“

Never empty but don’t be fooled by the line, the wait time is almost always faster than you’d think and I promise it’s worth the wait!“

“The Jerk chicken platter and hot wings make this halal stand out compared to others. Always have to get one or the other. The fried fish is amazing as well. The Halal eats burger is fine dining quality.
The portions is outstanding for the price. Never been disappointed with any item.
There is a wait time for items that are not a platter due to being made fresh to order so be prepared for that.
I hope this place keeps its quality and stays open forever.

Parking: The store front is located on a corner with both sides being a no-standing bus stop. But it is Queens so of course if you’re just going to pick up the food it’s perfectly fine. But during busy times those spots may be taken which leads to parking all the way down by Dunkin’ Donuts or in the parking lot of Stop & Shop across the street.
I’be never had an issue but something to be aware of if you’re not from the area.“

“Clean and well organized business. The girl at the front is friendly and good at her job. The best Philly Cheesesteak! I have also tried the Chicky Fries combo and that was excellent. I also like the Chicken Cheesesteak sandwich. Can’t wait to try their Wings as I just heard great things from my co-worker!

Also while we were waiting they came outside into the cold to hand us the food. They go out of their way and their food is amazing! I would love to come back here again! “First time trying K-Munchies. Came in with my 3yo son and instantly greeted by the husband of the adorable husband-wife duo. Ordered the single smash burger and twist donut with Umma's coffee. He was such a humble and kind soul and even offered for me to wait in the car to which he would bring out the food for us but we opted to wait inside for the food and had a great conversation and a few laughs. Food came out quick and was delicious. Whatever that smashburger sauce is was so good. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed the twist donuts. If you're in the neighborhood and need some comfort food to warm up the soul or be a glutton with a good ol' smashburger, this is the place to be. You also get a bonus of genuinely awesome people serving you.“

“Stopped here on a whim. My wife and I were going over to Texas Chicken and Burgers across the way for tenders, but saw the sign for this establishment and decided to come inside. We were rewarded by the very friendly service and great food. We got chicken over rice platters and an order of 4 lemon pepper tenders. Let me say that the amount of food they give you for $9.95, is greater that what one of the more visible Halal chains give you for $14.95. And it was just as good, if not better. The fried chicken tenders are amazing! They came out hot, fresh and were HUGE. Much bigger and less expensive than at the Wingstop a few blocks down the street.

While Frites is in the name, this establishment is focused a lot more on meals beyond just fries (like burgers). That’s not a bad thing, I was just hoping for something a little more specific. The Frites in question were okay. A little overcooked and crispy, but perfectly good enough to soak up the alcohol after a trip to nearby Sunken Harbor. The dipping sauce options were limited to a handful, but solid. The location has a few tables in the front. I wouldn’t call this a place where you would want to chill out, but it served its purpose. They also had fancy lemonades, which was a bonus.

Kid-friendliness: No reason why you couldn’t bring your child here. Just know that there isn’t a ton of seating.“

“I stopped by Dos Toros and ordered a carnitas burrito bowl, and it was definitely the best value on the menu. The portion was generous, and the staff didn’t skimp on any of the ingredients, which I really appreciated. The carnitas had great flavor—well-seasoned, tender, and not dry at all. The rice was also really good, cooked well and not just filler like some places tend to do.

My friends each ordered a taco, and while they enjoyed them, the portion size difference was pretty noticeable compared to my bowl. If you’re hungry, I’d definitely recommend going for something bigger.

I decided to order for pickup from the app and I chose to order flame broiled double whopper with no pickles and no onions with light mayo & light ketchup. I had asked the cashier what flame broiled meant and she said from the grill but it still has some oil of course. When I tell you it was the best whopper I ever had I’m not lying.
