“The experience of sitting in this “tasting room”, which is really a secret garden, is why we love the North Fork. Laid back, a soundtrack gently in the background, a Provençal Basket of snacks and a few lovely bottles of perfectly chilled Rose made the afternoon with friends even better. Quintessential day among the vines.“
“Perfect experience. My wife and I loved our selections. The owner, Tom, stopped by to say hi, which was a really nice touch and what a great guy. Cheers.“
“It is one of the best and most upscale wineries on Long Island. The wine selection is very large with some great roses, whites and reds. They also have a very delicious sake cider. The service was also great and the view was beautiful. We are red wine lovers and loved their Cabernet and Franc. Their signature rose is also delicious.“
“Best wines overall I’ve had on the North Fork. Service in the tasting room was exemplary. Kind of a rustic European vibe. Their Gewurtztraminer was excellent as was the Gruner Veltliner, a real surprise varietal for Long Island. It’s not really one woman either. The winemaker’s daughter has a distillery on the property. I tried her bourbon, which was a bit young, but destined to be a real treat with more ageing. Wonderful experience and highly recommended.“
“We absolutely adore this spot. You feel like you’re invited to your good family’s garden and you are treated that way—The owner is absolutely lovely. Highly recommend getting their mixed cheese board! Absolutely decadent. Plus their bubblies are sooo yummy.“
“If you were looking for a low-key vineyard without the usual hoity-toity Hamptons crowd, this is your spot. I liked it better than the other fancier vineyards. We went to that were overpriced and felt uptight. This Vineyard had some of the best wines at the most affordable prices and lots of snacks to choose from or you can bring your own. They have tons of outdoor seating and we’ve even brought a game and hung out there all afternoon. It would also be a great one if you wanted to bring your kids. Very laid-back and the staff was lovely and knowledgeable!“
“Greenport Distilling and Bar is no longer in Greenport. It has recently reopened on the site of One Woman Winery at 5195 Old North Road in Southold. In addition to great cocktails based on their own gin, vodka and bourbon, you can also opt for a variety of One Woman wines.
They are open every day except Tuesday from 11:30AM to 6:00PM. On Fridays, they stay open for Jazz Night from 6:00 to 9:00.
The musicians vary from week to week but they have all been good. What does not vary is the quality of the cocktails, wines and delicious snacks. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The newly renovated barn provides an impressive and comfortable environment to relax and enjoy.“

“I had my bachelorette weekend in the Hamptons during 4th of July weekend and we booked a tasting here. Our guide was Andrew and he was a gem! The estate was gorgeous and there were even horses in the background. The pours were generous and we all had a blast sipping on the wine and being in the beautiful landscape. I've never been a fan of white wine but theirs tasted good!“
