“I just got back from a trip to NYC and my brother-in-law treated us to dinner from The Halal Guys in Midtown and I knew it would be good since it was the only food cart with a block-long line after midnight. In fact I liked it so much I wanted to see if I could get something similar nearby... and I found it! I got the chicken and lamb over rice combo and while it wasn't quite the same it was still very good. The only difference is it didn't come with the pita bread and the white sauce tasted a bit different, but not bad. It also has more veggies so more "crunch" but next time I'm going to ask to leave them off (I just don't like the crunch...). I'm very happy to have a local option at a good price and generous portions. Thank you Sam's.“

“I was working locally and decided to grab lunch from Wheeler Deli after reading the reviews. The deli is smaller and quaint but has a large case of Boars Head meats, salads, and desserts. I ordered an American Hero, sides of macaroni salad, and potato salad, and a piece of the banana bread. They got right to making my order and the wait time was less than 5 minutes. My sandwich was fresh, crisp, and delicious. The salads were creamy and had great flavor. The banana bread was outstanding; dense and sweet and flavorful. The total for food and a drink was less than $25 which was a great value. I’ll be back.“

The curry chicken and curry goat both taste just like home. They also have Dal and Saag. I could not get enough. And unlike every other deli, they have a small intimate dining area in the back. “The prettiest salad I ever had in a deli. I had their “ocean side salad” that is beyond delicious. Big trunk of tuna, fresh greens, and fresh feta cheese. You can tell the quality is good not like the other place mixed a lot sauce or mayo in the salad. They give you the real stuff inside. The store is clear and the stuffs are friendly and attentive. I recommend everyone and will go back regularly for quick meal solutions.“
