The lunch hours can get pretty crowded and busy but is worth the wait. This deli is small and looks like the kind of place that has been there for many years-in a good way. As soon as you walk in, you just know it's going to be good. The two women who work there were very friendly. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back for an egg sandwich, which seem to be their specialty judging from their online menu and the smell of eggs wafting through the store.“

“I just got back from a trip to NYC and my brother-in-law treated us to dinner from The Halal Guys in Midtown and I knew it would be good since it was the only food cart with a block-long line after midnight. In fact I liked it so much I wanted to see if I could get something similar nearby... and I found it! I got the chicken and lamb over rice combo and while it wasn't quite the same it was still very good. The only difference is it didn't come with the pita bread and the white sauce tasted a bit different, but not bad. It also has more veggies so more "crunch" but next time I'm going to ask to leave them off (I just don't like the crunch...). I'm very happy to have a local option at a good price and generous portions. Thank you Sam's.“

“Parkway is my go to local deli. I've been going to Parkway for many years and I always order the usual an egg sandwich & iced tea/iced coffee. The large iced teas and iced coffees are what I usually see most people visiting for. One popular iced coffee they make is called the parkway mix. It's very sweet and sugary, but totally worth it. They also have great lunch sandwiches as well. I love that whenever I visit, everyone behind the counter is very friendly and welcoming!“

My only complaint is that I had Haitian Chicken over Rice, but the rice tasted unwashed ruining the dish (the chicken was still good). Other than that, I loved every other option. “Got the tacos de carnitas (pork), chorizo (ground pork), and bistec (steak). All delicious but my favorite has to be the carnitas, and this is mostly because the owners wife makes the pork from pork shoulder and she's Dominican so she makes it as pernil which I grew up eating and it's my favorite rendition of pork. So it's fair to say that I've been here like 3 times in the past month and a half after finding this spot ? but it's bc in all honesty these are some of the best tacos in the area (Elmont/valley stream) and especially the best carnitas (pork) tacos in the area. We can try and compare other spots, but I promise you it's just your pride lol if we are talking Elmont this is the spot. Very authentic and the portions are crazy, I can throw down but I'm good with 4-5 tacos. Tbh once you go into 5-6 you're gonna be in the food baby territory of fullness, just get a Jarrito for the bevy and you'll be golden beloved.“

“Ladies and gentlemen, this is THE place to eat. They serve a massive variety of foods for all three meals. There's a hot bar, meats, acai bowls, omelettes, bagels, egg sandwiches, regular sandwiches, subs, deli, smoothies, juices, fruit.….EVERYTHING!!!
No matter what we ordered here, it was delicious and fairly priced.
The folks who run the place are genuine and friendly, especially the dude up front who looks like Adam Sandler. Lol.

The food was all vegetarian [Eggplant, Egg salad, Tuna, Veggie wrap, Potato salad, Cole slaw] and no complaints from any of the guests, so all good.
Especially liked the eggplant wraps and potato salad.
Yes, will be returning here for more food at a later date.

Vegetarian options: Kind of on a corner property, so please be careful driving in and out of the parking lot.

Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level and lots of room inside, so probably good for wheelchair accessibility though I didn't measure door width.“
