“Let me start off with the line being out the door, it spoke for itself which made me stay for the wait. The line moved fairly quick and the staff was more than helpful. The food was delicious and fresh and there's so much you can chose from !!!! I will most definitely make this my to go spot for everything from an average sandwich to the catering !! Anyone and everyone should go and try it out !!!!“
“Absolutely the best deli around !! It is family owned and you can tell that everyone who works there, loves to be there. All the food is so fresh and amazing. We have been going for years before we moved, we made a trip out on Saturday and oh have we missed It. Rick took good care of us. We will definitely make an effort and take long drives to come visit more. 1000/10 recommend“
“My son & ordered breakfast sandwiches to be picked up and the service was very sweet and prompt! My son said his sandwich (the one with mushrooms) was "amazing!" I got the egg white wrap which was also delicious- very fresh with a perfect balance of ingredients. And the coffee was really good too!“
“Best chicken cutlet in the area. Left a note for an order specification that they were not seeing (that I was not aware about). I left a lower than usual review because it was happening more than once as I am a regular customer. Immediately they were on it. The next time I placed an order I received a phone call from the owner herself to make sure they knew what went wrong and how they could fix it. This business truly values their customers and really go the extra mile. Great food and great people make for a great experience! Highly recommend to all in the bayside area!“
“A proper authentic old school deli with real genuine kind owners who are passionate and care about their products and service. The food matches its authenticity. (They use regionally sourced Dietz and Watson and even have grass fed burgers) Other delis, restaurants, or any other type of business for that matter, take note - this is how it's done. One of NYC's best kept secrets and kind of want to keep it that way, but that would be selfish of me not to spread the word of just how good it is. As a NYC native, I can tell you I've tried my fair share of Deli's and finding the best BEC (bacon, egg, and cheese) around, and this one by far tops the list in any category.“
“Best deli on Long Island. Family-owned with that old school Italian feel, sandwiches are delicious (that’s what I usually get) and the owners/ employees are warm, welcoming, and very helpful. Myriad of offerings as well as standard grocery items available. Can’t stress enough how great the food is here. Excuse my face in the photo , I imagine that was the only time I wasn’t smiling in Park Delicatessen“
“Food looks great for breakfast & lunch. We had breakfast which it was very good & tasty. There are different choices for lunch like carne guisada, pupusas, chicharron con yuca, empanadas, etc. coffee was strong & tasty .... The way we like it .Homefries, suny side up eggs, sausage & toast“
“Ardito's is staple of the community there in Mineola. Anyone who knows Rosa and Tony will agree with me that they are both amazing. The food is always on point and handed to you with a smile. The lunch hours can get pretty crowded and busy but is worth the wait. I recommend Arditos for everything from sandwiches to salads and pasta.. eggplant parm to die for and some of the best chicken cutlets I have ever had!“
“Amazing deli! I work at American Water and we pass this on our route. We've all been to ALOT of deli's and keep going back to this one. All the food here is equally great, so i recommend whatever you're in the mood for and i'm sure it will be good! The prices are really great too.“
“Good food and friendly people. They're pretty quick even when busy too. So glad I found this place. I was tired of the ridiculous long waits and being mistreated at Smith St deli, where staff only seems to be nice to cops, EMS, fire firefighters and construction workers.“
“Best deli in Elmont. There hero's are on the money. And the prices are not to be considered the " bidenflation!! They have hilarious names for their hero's. You will be very satisfied with them.Parking: There's always parking either by the front or on the side.“
“I worked at JFK for 2 years, rented a room in HB commuting from CT. The few days a week I was down there I would often go here for a breakfast sandwich or a sandwich to bring to work for lunch. The owner Mike is a great guy, Barbara was always helpful and fun to talk with. These people made me feel like a local and welcomed me everyday I was there. Highly recommend“
“This hibachi blows a certain local chain out of the water. Amazing food, served by really nice people, out of the most humble kitchen.I had a generous portion of the steak and shrimp combo. Although the shrimp was a bit salty, it was overall really delicious!Easily the best I've had in a while, and all for $12.Give them a try!“
“Food is so good. The staff are friendly and very nice .they have a good selection of food and drinks. I'll recommend it highly.I was looking for a good place to stop by and get some good and hot Spanish food and this is the place to go plenty of different preparations that you can mix it when is ordered it. Stop by you won't regret it.“
“This is my own personal favorite deli in about a 30 mile radius. Great sandwiches, great prices considering post covid gouging. I love the fact that I can get breakfast as late as 1 or 1:30 in the afternoon. This deli can be very busy at any given time but they stay on top of their game so you're never ignored or left waiting.“
“(Translated by Google) A good service and there is charisma to serve more when they are people who have been ai wow for a long time.(Original)Un buen atendimiento y hay carisma para atender mas cuando son personas que llevan tiempo ai wow .demi parte encantado“
“I didnt even get cooked food i got the cucumber salad some tomato and mozz salad and a pickle smh omg when i say the pickle was enough for me to crave more !! The atmosphere was so calm and cool music playing the service was immaculate the smell of fresh food fresh vegetables fresh soup filled the air smh i will definitely be “
“I've worked in the area for 5 years and this is my go-to deli. I've never had a bad experience. I usually call in my order before I come, but the few times I've walked there, there wasn't really any wait. They're always so nice and friendly when I come in and I'm big on that. The food is always fresh and delicious. If you live in the area and haven't been here, I recommend that you stop by and try it. They won't disappoint.“
“(Translated by Google) The owner gives excellent service, and the food is very good and fresh. It is not a car, nor cheap but it is worth it(Original)La duena da excelente servicio, y la comida esta muy buena y fresca. No es carro, ni barrato pero vale la pena“
“Got the tacos de carnitas (pork), chorizo (ground pork), and bistec (steak). All delicious but my favorite has to be the carnitas, and this is mostly because the owners wife makes the pork from pork shoulder and she's Dominican so she makes it as pernil which I grew up eating and it's my favorite rendition of pork. So it's fair to say that I've been here like 3 times in the past month and a half after finding this spot ? but it's bc in all honesty these are some of the best tacos in the area (Elmont/valley stream) and especially the best carnitas (pork) tacos in the area. We can try and compare other spots, but I promise you it's just your pride lol if we are talking Elmont this is the spot. Very authentic and the portions are crazy, I can throw down but I'm good with 4-5 tacos. Tbh once you go into 5-6 you're gonna be in the food baby territory of fullness, just get a Jarrito for the bevy and you'll be golden beloved.“
“We were staying at the nearby hotels. During a walk around the area found this deli. Wanted something for breakfast, so we went inside and got breakfast sandwiches. They were very good and the prices were very reasonable. Workers were very friendly. The deli also sells drink and household items.“
“I've been coming from Orange County every week for the last 2 years to watch my grandsons a few days each week. We make it part of our day to take a walk and always stop in for a snack or a sandwhich. Sam and his wife are lovely, friendly people and always make a fuss over the babies. The store is immaculate and the Korean food is not to be missed. The Bulgogi hero is my favorite go to sandwhich....Highly recommend !“
“Hands down best pernil I've ever had. I will make the drive from queens any day. The food is always fresh and tasty and the customer service is great. They make you feel like family. I've tried the pupusas before and they were made fresh on the spot and so delicious. If you haven't tried it yet please do you can't go wrong with whatever you order.“
“Meacham Deli offers a delightful experience with its delicious sandwiches and welcoming atmosphere. The "As Good as It Gets" and "The Grandslam" were flavorful and well-crafted, showcasing the deli's commitment to quality ingredients. The friendly staff, complete selection of Boars Head meats, and availability of breakfast further enhance the appeal of this establishment. While seating may be limited, the focus on takeout and quick dining options makes it a convenient choice for a satisfying meal on the go.“
“Very small, quaint bagel shop.Got a toasted poppy bagel with tuna that was absolutely delicious!Even got a few more bagels for later on as well. Not a local spot for me. But would definitely be returning if in the area again.Cash only, and I fully understand that. The prices are very fair, and the folks working are very friendlyWould recommend!“
“Alright for me my client hates the orders he's been getting thinks its to little cheese as for me its just right. Idk about other people but yeah, would be 5 stars if they can stock there beef stew supplie more I am almost starving for beef stew...“
“The hot Chopped Cheese hoagie is very, very good. The best that I have had on Long Island. Staff are kind and friendly. Open late; which is always great, but remember that it's in the West End of Long Beach, which has more locations serving booze into the wee hours than Burning Man, and so things can get dicey down on Beech Street after 10 pm. But the Chopped Cheese is worth it.“
“You can never go wrong with a BEC or a sandwich for the beach from Boswells. They’re quick, efficient, affordable and delicious. They’re generous with their product, even when I get my sandwich on a roll, it’s two meals for me easily.“
“This is a great place very clean fast and great costumer service and family friendly the food its fresh amd a verry good price with a 5.00$order 3 of us ate they also got ice cream and slushie juice thanx guys for treating people with a great service“
“Good food for great prices. Several great specials where they let you substitute sauce, cheese, etc. The only issue with this place is parking during lunch time.Edit: I've since moved further away and didn't visit for 3+ years until recently I was in the area and dropped by. Food is still great!“
“The best deli! The staff is amazing, the portions are huge, the quality is unbelievable! This deli is always busy- for a reason. They really run a great place. Breakfast or lunch, they make a great sandwich and the guys that work here are gems. My wife showed me this place when we started dating and they never stopped being spectacular. Consistently amazing.Parking: Parking lot across the street + street parkingKid-friendliness: Bring the kids, why not!“
“My husband and I stopped here a couple weeks ago on a trip to visit family. I was 8 weeks pregnant at the time and struggling with morning sickness. I got a breakfast sandwich here and I have not been able to stop thinking about it since, it was that good. The bagel was fresh and toasted perfectly, the eggs were cooked to perfection, not burn even with a tiny about of runny yolk remaining. The bacon was melt in your mouth delicious without crumbling into your lap. My husband got a sub sandwich and he said it was better than his favorite deli from his hometown. I think we will make this a regular stop. I highly recommend.“
“Grew up on paninsula gotta admit hate change stores gone used to be here but rohan got that family way can't get other spots pick up or deliver never gonna suffer it's all worth it just can't give more than 5 stars keep up great stuff“
“I go here when I get my hair done across the street. Usually order breakfast because they serve beef bacon, a welcomed change from the typical pork bacon. Bacon, egg, and cheese on a hero is my go to. They have good assortment of beverages and cheap snacks, many of the local school kids stop here as well.“
“Always ask for the price of a sandwich before you order it as they removed the prices off their menu. I got a simple sandwich, white bread, turkey, american cheese, and ranch. $13-$14 They didnt even put the ranch on it. Very friendly service but this is honestly a rip off.“
“Shaggy was very accommodating to my needs being that I'm disabled, he & his staff are top tier on a customer service level.Definitely exceeded my expectations, he went above and beyond which is much appreciated.Much♥️ to everyone there, continued success to you!!“
“The place is full on weekends and they serve you at the entrance in an important way, they take you to your table depending on how many people there are, the food is good because there is a variety, it has sushi and there is also a place that cooks whatever you ask for, I don't know Yes, it has an additional cost but the place is excellent. The only bad thing and what bothers me is that when you already serve dessert they are quick to put the bill on you. That makes you uncomfortable because you are enjoying your dessert and you feel like hurry up and get up because I'm done that is uncomfortable parking there is enough but if you go on a holiday that is full or it is a weekend you must be patient because the parking lot is full“
“They open quite early at 5am so this spot is a gem for the early birds, food is slamming and they have a wide selection of hot Latin American cuisine. Their hot and cold drinks are a must have! I recommend trying them all out, don't be shy to try something new!“
“They're very clean and the food is actually good like a restaurant, not deli. I like the variety of options from breakfast to dinner like the lamb. My favorite is the halal chicken salad with chickpeas corn black Olive and pickles and also the chicken tenders with fries“
“Super professional, took care of everything cradle to grave! We had a need to cater food for a coworker's funeral for his father. Called early in the morning and La Favorita delivered in the afternoon.. They went above and beyond.Funny enough in speaking with other coworkers who happen to live in the area - La Favorita was the top pick of where to go as well! The food and service - impeccable. Thanks so much for making things so easy!“
“It's a local family Run Deli. The hot food counter features popular breakfast and lunch selections from Central America and the Caribbean. You can get hot coffee and tea here (herbal too). They are also beer and other beverages served in the freezer. And you can even get fresh fruit like watermelon and pineapple cut up. Ask for it. It's a local community Deli, so you'll find a variety of items.“
“Mohammed and Al are the best this deli has been here for years but once Mohammed it’s better then ever. Prices is decent food is above average. I come here everyday to get ether that baconeggcheese or that grilled chicken sandwich they make other dishes too, what ever you like. They go above and beyond for the customer. Pop out and bring them more business so they can get better and better“
“I love Mohamed, Kassim (Owner), Ramzi, Ahmad, Omar#1 (morning grill guy) and Alex. Absolute legends. They had Marlon, David, and host of others helping them, they just get employed and disappear. I love their food service, even my dad loved their hamburgers at one point until they start messing up on that. One of the best bodega stores in South Ozone Park. I used to go here for breakfast and Dinner. Nonetheless, I love this place, but at times it could be too addictive. I did go here in the daytime at one point, the night crew here is all screwed up. The guy (Omar# 2) that cover the register hardly pays attention ever and he look at you stupid like he doesn't know English and keep stepping out when you trying to order or buy something. Night chef (Truck) there is cool, but he half steps most of the time. Also, there's a guy there with a folded-up ear, that's Omar#2 (night register guy). He works at the register at night. He's cool but slow at the same time. Nonetheless, this is my favorite bodega in the history of the South Ozone Park community. Still my go-to store, but lately I don't go there nearly as much.“
“Our go-to place every time we visit Long Island. While their sandwiches are great, I’ve gotta say that their sausage is fantastic- it’s a toss up between the hot Italian or the fennel sausage, both are made in house. Wish I had a place like this near where I live in New Jersey.“
