“I was working locally and decided to grab lunch from Wheeler Deli after reading the reviews. The deli is smaller and quaint but has a large case of Boars Head meats, salads, and desserts. I ordered an American Hero, sides of macaroni salad, and potato salad, and a piece of the banana bread. They got right to making my order and the wait time was less than 5 minutes. My sandwich was fresh, crisp, and delicious. The salads were creamy and had great flavor. The banana bread was outstanding; dense and sweet and flavorful. The total for food and a drink was less than $25 which was a great value. I’ll be back.“

“I've been going to this store for a few years now, as it was close to my job. I've never had a bad experience.. Service is always wonderful and each employee greets me and are very personable. I normally call ahead and place my order if I want a hero, food etc. Never a problem! Store always stocked. Need you play your lotto, grab a bite and a laugh with any one of the team, go here! 😁“

“If you haven’t been to the Gibson Deli lately you need to stop by. The new owners have added so many new items. One of my favorites is the chicken cutlet sandwiches. I keep trying a different version and each is delicious. Definitely stop by and check out all the new choices.“

Pro tip: if you’re craving an egg sandwich for breakfast, skip the confusion next door and come straight here. Unlike Magic Bagels, Brookside actually serves eggs. Go figure.
