“Ordered for the first time last night, they were super accommodating since we called at 8:45 and they close at 9:00…. They made us 5 pies and I’m was so appreciative. They were so nice and even recommended one which I absolutely loved (with potatoes!) we can’t wait to go back but to eat there so we get the Pizza Hut out of the oven! Amazing owners and such a delight to have in valley steam!! The owner explained the ingredients and concept to my husband and his friend. They can’t back telling us so about it!“

“I was working locally and decided to grab lunch from Wheeler Deli after reading the reviews. The deli is smaller and quaint but has a large case of Boars Head meats, salads, and desserts. I ordered an American Hero, sides of macaroni salad, and potato salad, and a piece of the banana bread. They got right to making my order and the wait time was less than 5 minutes. My sandwich was fresh, crisp, and delicious. The salads were creamy and had great flavor. The banana bread was outstanding; dense and sweet and flavorful. The total for food and a drink was less than $25 which was a great value. I’ll be back.“

“Bagel Express never disappoints. The bagels are always fresh, perfectly toasted, and have that real NYC chew you can’t fake. The bacon, egg, and cheese is 🔥 crispy bacon, fluffy eggs, melted cheese, and stacked just right on a hot bagel. Portions are solid and the flavor is on point every time. Staff is fast, friendly, and professional. This is my go-to spot for a proper BEC. Highly recommend. Best Breakfast spot in Valley Stream!“

“I decided to try this spot instead of Magic Bagels and what a pleasant surprise! Not only are the bagels huge, but also soft and delicious. The workers were super nice. I got half a dozen bagels, half pound of cream cheese, and a large iced coffee for $20- can’t beat that. Would I sit down and eat here? No. But for carry out it’s the perfect spot.“

There’s a girl who usually works by herself in the mornings and she handles everything so quickly while still being attentive and welcoming. The service was a bit uneven, but that could be due to the VOLUME of the crowd! Yet fair warning... It is LOUD-- to the point where you can hear everyone else's conversation but yours😂 However... it's definitely worth the trip-- Make certain to try the Milano-- 2 poached eggs on an English muffin with basil, prosciutto and hollandaise sauce. “Excellent eatery on Atlantic Avenue. The owner is super friendly and very courteous. We are offered a free amuse-bouche starter of whipped ricotta on pita and it was fabulous. We got a few dishes of just tapas and a delicious salad. Will absolutely be my new go to restaurant. There was even live music that was another fabulous touch.“

Waffles N Sip Cafe is an absolute hidden gem! The Belgian waffles were perfectly fluffy, fresh, and delicious. Their specialty lattes are truly unique and full of flavor—the Lotus Latte is an absolute must-try and was one of the best specialty coffee drinks I’ve had.

The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is delectable, and the service was wonderful. If you’re looking for a great brunch spot with amazing waffles and creative coffee selections, I highly recommend Waffles N Sip Cafe.

“Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

“As a local, I truly consider this coffee shop one of the sweetest gems in our community. I recently had a little Galentine’s get-together here, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The family who runs it is incredibly kind and accommodating.

The coffee shop is decorated so pretty. We loved everything we tried, but the cookie butter latte and banana oat latte were definite favorites! The food was also good!

“I got the mango/matcha soft serve! Needless to say, this was one of the most delicious matcha desserts I have had in a long time! I'm a matcha enthusiast and I have been to Maiko before but never had their soft serve. This was exactly what I needed to satisfy my sweet tooth! The flavor is sweet enough and the matcha really come through - I can compare the flavor profile to Chigi no shiro by Marukyu Koyamaen. It’s the perfect place to grab my morning coffee before getting on the train and I consistently get pastries and sweet treats for birthdays, holidays, or for myself. The chef has perfected her art, as everything is always well balanced, not overly sweet, and incredibly flavorful and light. My favorite type of pastry is one with buttercream and it’s been proven difficult to find buttercream pastries in general, but also delicately well made. I often buy the mini cake as it is the perfect buttercream recipe and everyone I have gotten it for has been thrilled. You cannot go wrong with this establishment. I am always impressed by the artistry, craft, and of course, flavors. The family that owns it are also truly kind and overall wonderful people who I look forward to seeing every morning on my way to work.“
