“As a local, I truly consider this coffee shop one of the sweetest gems in our community. I recently had a little Galentine’s get-together here, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The family who runs it is incredibly kind and accommodating.

The coffee shop is decorated so pretty. We loved everything we tried, but the cookie butter latte and banana oat latte were definite favorites! The food was also good!

It was extremely cold day and was around the shop’s closing time, yet he asked me to stay in his shop even though my train won’t be here for a while. “Possibly one of the best hot dogs I’ve ever had! I stumbled upon this spot on a whim while visiting clients in Queens, and I’m glad I did. From the very first snap, I could tell this had to be a homemade or custom dog — it didn’t have that generic taste so many hot dogs do. The seasoning was perfect, and it actually tasted like a real meal rather than just a quick snack.

On my second visit, I asked the team in the truck why their dogs were so good. They explained that it’s a custom blend made exclusively for them and a few high-end retailers who serve it in their restaurants.

“Friend just brought me here for breakfast, street parking can be a bit challenging otherwise the place was great. Seating was plentiful.

My friend and I ate a bacon egg and cheese on toast. The entire sandwich is a beautiful presentation. The toast was golden brown, warm and sliced as to envelope the ingredients. The cheese a warm gooey skin around the walls of the toast. The bacon, added wonderful flavor to the fluffiest eggs I have seen in quite a while. I highly recommend stopping in and trying it for yourself. Your taste buds will thank you!“

“I have loved Tim Hortons ever since my first cup in Toronto! I had some time to kill waiting for the train and was delighted to see they had a kiosk at the LIRR stop! They just launched their fall pumpkin donut and latte and they were amazzzzzinnnnngggg. Staff was super friendly and served the meal with a smile Shadeek and Adiba were awesome!“

“I’ve been to this restaurant twice. The first time, I tried the Hainanese chicken rice. As a big fan of the dish, I’d say they did a really good job. The rice texture is a bit different—in a good way—and you can really taste the ginger.

The second time, I tried their khao mok gai (Thai chicken biryani). It was so good—honestly, it tasted just like the version I’ve had in Thailand. I also love their condiments.

Overall, I’m giving them 4 stars. The staff are friendly, too. It can get packed, especially when groups of tourists come in to buy Thai desserts, so please be patient.“

We were in town helping another G-FORCE location with an Amazon project, so naturally, we took a break to explore the local food scene. First Impressions: We kicked off with the Deviled Eggs – the jalapeño added a nice little kick while the bacon... well, it was bacon – crispy and delicious. Next up were the House Pickles – sweet, vinegary, and unexpectedly tasty. Who knew pickles could be this good? The Mains: Harry went with the Pulled Pork – packed with flavor, moist, and paired with an excellent sauce. The Potato Salad stood out with just the right-sized chunks, and the Cornbread? Perfectly crispy on the outside. Steve opted for the BBQ Chicken – tender and juicy, coated with that same outstanding house sauce. And the Kielbasa? This place might not be Polish, but they nailed it – full of flavor and definitely a surprise hit! The Potato Salad reminded us of Grandma’s homemade classic, and the Collards had a unique twist that, honestly, we didn’t hate. The rest of the table didn’t hold back either – from the Burger to the Mac and Cheese and, of course, more Pulled Pork, it was all a hit! “Went to Rincon Criollo for my son's birthday. I've been there before for a large birthday party. Please take into account the large party was about 40 people and the service was very good. I enjoyed this time more because it was only a table of 5 and the service was even better. The croquettes were excellent and the Vaca Frita with maduros was also excellent. Oh, I forgot...the Mojito was sooooo good. Muddled lime and mint for sure. And of course, we embarrassed our adult son with a very festive birthday celebration with the staff...bingo and thank you! The sushi was delicious, they kept the sushi with gluten in a separate container, they have party platters and party trays, and they sold me the perfect amount of food without being pressured to buy too much.
