The service was a bit uneven, but that could be due to the VOLUME of the crowd! Yet fair warning... It is LOUD-- to the point where you can hear everyone else's conversation but yours😂 However... it's definitely worth the trip-- Make certain to try the Milano-- 2 poached eggs on an English muffin with basil, prosciutto and hollandaise sauce. “Excellent eatery on Atlantic Avenue. The owner is super friendly and very courteous. We are offered a free amuse-bouche starter of whipped ricotta on pita and it was fabulous. Randy the owner is not only the nicest guy but a fantastic chef! He and his wife run the business. I had his brisket (at his insistence!) Delicious! Sweet potatoes and collard greens. We were in town helping another G-FORCE location with an Amazon project, so naturally, we took a break to explore the local food scene. First Impressions: We kicked off with the Deviled Eggs – the jalapeño added a nice little kick while the bacon... well, it was bacon – crispy and delicious. Next up were the House Pickles – sweet, vinegary, and unexpectedly tasty. Who knew pickles could be this good? The Mains: Harry went with the Pulled Pork – packed with flavor, moist, and paired with an excellent sauce. The Potato Salad stood out with just the right-sized chunks, and the Cornbread? Perfectly crispy on the outside. Steve opted for the BBQ Chicken – tender and juicy, coated with that same outstanding house sauce. And the Kielbasa? This place might not be Polish, but they nailed it – full of flavor and definitely a surprise hit! The Potato Salad reminded us of Grandma’s homemade classic, and the Collards had a unique twist that, honestly, we didn’t hate. The rest of the table didn’t hold back either – from the Burger to the Mac and Cheese and, of course, more Pulled Pork, it was all a hit! “I went to Beach BBQ and satisfied would be an understatement. Upon arrival I was greeted by staff at hat engaged as if we were family or old friends. I reviewed the menu and settled on the Dragon Glazed Salmon Mac and cheese and candied yams. The meal and service was superb. I highly recommend this spot ! Don’t walk Run to this restaurant!!“

“I came here on 5/28/25 for dinner take out/pick up. I ordered their house/garden salad with grilled chicken, Gnocchi Bolognese, and it came with I believe it is possibly fresh ricotta cheese, which was really good, and it also came with some really good bread. I am a really big salad person and I did not really like the salad or the salad dressing that it came with. My opinion, I was not a fan of the field greens, the field greens did not smell/seem as fresh, compared to other salads that I order from other places. The pasta dish was ok/good but I was not a fan of this either. I was really a fan of the side of fresh ricotta cheese and the delicious bread it came with. It seemed to have a great atmosphere and many people were there eating when I came to pick my food up. The service was good and accurate. This review is simply just my personal opinion. “I just had my daughter’s baptism at Fabio’s. From the food to the service everything was amazing! My guests were raving about the food. We did family style and it was more than enough food. We even had leftovers to take home! Fabio went above and beyond helping us set up the decorations the night before my party. We never felt rushed (we were there til 1am). The Red Snapper (steamed or fried), Griot, Black or Red Rice, the legume and stew chicken magnificent, and the creamiest homemade BAKED (not the boxed stuff either) mac & cheese you ever put in your mouth. Their seating won't accommodate big crowds, their prices are high, and they charge for extra oxtail sauce, but nonetheless the food is well worth the trip.“

“I have been frequenting the Kookaburra Malverne location on and off for several years. The only downside is they close a bit early for my schedule and they only take cash. Other than that, this location is full of phenomenal humans. The customer service is unparalleled. Every single time that I can remember there that’s been a superb interaction with the baristas and the clientele. Today one is the baristas wishes a client Happy Birthday anniversary wishes and the client was so moved. Heck, I was moved. A couple of months ago I was here and heard a client place an order and received the order and said it wasn’t what she ordered. In many cases folks would get annoyed as they made what the client requested, but the barista was so kind and professional, but mostly so kind and understanding and she remade the clients order and offered the “mistaken” beverage for the client to take at no charge. It was such a great moment to witness. The energy in here is quite welcoming and positive. Our furry babies are welcome and everyone is treated with respect and kindness.

“My buddy and I went to dinner at the Grand Stage Diner on 4/10/24 prior to the Islanders game. The diner was clean, the hostess was very nice and friendly and the wait staff was excellent. We each ordered burgers w/ fries. I have to say it was one of the best cheeseburgers I ever had at a diner. Food was hot, perfectly cooked. Superb! I would definitely go back. “Il Gufo is my new favorite GC restaurant, their menu is a breath of fresh air. Unlike many Italian restaurants that are stuck in an Italian food time warp their menu is an update of delicious Italian delicacies. Their choices are like eating in a restaurant in Italy. There is nothing I don’t like that I have ordered at Il Gufo. Service is wonderful I never feel rushed and love how they remove dirty dishes quickly. FYI great place for desserts and a cup of espresso.“
