My wife Lyli and I stayed in the Chapman Carriage house atThe Historic Hotel Broadalbin for 2 days and had a delicious meal with friends at the 1854 Pub Restaurant. Dave was so kind and personally met us at the front door to go over our room & its amenities. It was a spacious well-kept room with a comfortable King bed that was more than important for this old man with a bad back. My husband and I recently dined here for the first time. We've driven past this hotel a zillion times and watched it go from a state of disrepair to dramatic and much needed restoration. We went on a Tuesday (Mexican Night) as it was one of the few restaurants that was open. It was my birthday.
