Newark has an amazing food culture! The Ironbound district is especially famous for Portuguese, Spanish, and Brazilian cuisine. The seafood and grilled meats are always fresh and full of flavor. You can find everything from cozy family-owned restaurants to modern dining spots.
Delicious pizza with a good selection to choose from. What I also really appreciate from this pizzeria is that they participate in “Too Good To Go” which is an app that sells food that would’ve otherwise been thrown out. You can buy a “surprise bag” for I think $6 and it comes with tons of stuff!! I got like 4-5 slices last time, including a Sicilian and each slice had toppings! This spot is the bomb. The pizza is delicious, and even though it’s in a busy area, it’s definitely worth checking out.
The food is good, the prices are reasonable, and it’s a solid place to grab something when you’re in the neighborhood. Simple, tasty, and worth a stop.

5 Star Pizza Pasta & Burgers is a decent spot with a lot on the menu. The beef party with cheese and cheese tortellini Alfredo with chicken were great. The garlic bread was tasty, but there was once they forgot coco bread. The man at the counter was helpful with ordering. People come in for the "usual," which is a good sign. The large cheese pizzas were good, with large portion sizes. The lasagna is a favorite, not like typical pizza shop fare. Well worth the price, definitely recommended.
