“Vegan Grill is a very cool late night bodega. They sell a lot of snacks that I haven't seen anywhere else. They have a very nice vegan menu and all the vegan food is cooked on a separate grill. I got the vegan chopped cheese with French fries. Even though, it was filling it was too salty. Overall it was good.“

“One of my favorite halal spots in queens. Food and service is impeccable. Even though I got a salad platter they still threw in some rice so you won’t go hungry. Chicken and lamb are amazing. Perfect amount of char and still tender. They also usually give out a free sample of falafel which is cooked and seasoned perfectly. They also cook it in an oval shape so it’s a bit more crispy as opposed to the circle ones. Must try and always get extra white sauce and hot sauce. Food is hot, fresh and comes out quickly“

“June 26, 2022. Walked to get our order of a Lamb wrap, chicken wrap and fries. First time there and a welcome place to the neighborhood. The staff are friendly, the place is new and clean and most important the food is very good. Will return many times. Check it out.“

“My husband and I love coming here, the place is always so clean and tidy and the food is so fresh. The people are so friendly. This last visit, we got to meet Tamara who took care of us. She is so genuine and helpful. Falafel palace knows how to take care of their customers. I ordered the falafel sandwich and grape leaves which are my favorites and the best place to get them. As a vegan this is also a great vegan-friendly place to go as it is vegetarian and most of the menu is vegan and have lots of gluten free options.“

“Delicious Authentic Middle Eastern falafel and shawarma. It's a place that focuses on just that, but does it really well. Every element of the 'sandwich' is made to perfection! The pita is fresh and warm, the shawarma is cooked perfectly on the rotisserie, and each topping is delicious- the humus, tehina, amba, onions... plus ... served with a smile! Open late too!“

Make sure to bring lots of napkins and consider eating in Union Square, as they're full of drippy goodness. The owners are efficient and down to business, but warm up after repeat visits.“

I ordered the Shawafel and it was big enough for two but being from LA I wasn't going to get something this good for a while so I ate it all. It was spicy (optional) and hot and fresh. “it was amazing!! The proportions of the chicken and rice were in large amounts. The chicken was cooked well and the rice was soft. The salad on the side was very fresh. Overall I recommend this place for kids and adults. The spice levels canbe altered by asking for little hot sauce and more white sauce. The price is affordable and it is ready in less than 10 minutes.“

“Great food! I had the double cheeseburger which was a bit lacking in terms of flavor but I’ve heard their kebabs are much better. I’ll go back some other time to try the kebabs because the restaurant was great overall. Good service, really great prices. The only issue was the atmosphere but can’t complain for the price. “Food is delicious as hell and I like the energy and people are polite, but I did ask if I could replace the baba ganoush with a different appetizer, they clarified I didn't want baba ganoush, and then it was very much in my falafel platter. I just kinda. Hate eggplant but also food waste and I didn't want them to have to toss my platter or whatever if I asked for it fixed. They also skipped the hot sauce and I asked for a LOT of hot sauce. It made me sad.“

“Full disclosure, I know and really love the owner and his family. However, even if I didn’t , which I do, I’d give this five stars. Pizza is fresh and delicious, the place is spotless and they are always cleaning, portions are plentiful, the falafel is fantastic and I love how they warm up the pita to give the sandwich a nice crunch. Service is great. When we got there no one knew we were friendly with the owner but we were treated as if we were. Everyone was. Fast, efficient and good. Also, love the large seating area in the back. Great spot!“
