I go to this pizza shop because I always felt like they have the best pizza, in my opinion, on this side of the Bronx. So I decided to purchase the shrimp Parmesan with spaghetti and marinara sauce for my mom because that is her favorite and I didn't want to have to go all the way across town to Giovanni's. The food is great, they make it pretty quick but they are kinda on the expensive side, at least to me. I usually pay $2.50-$3 for a pizza in the heights and they charge like $4-5 but the food taste good so its worth it. I always get the buffalo chicken pizza and garlic knots. They also have this appetizer called "Zeppoles" it's amazing. The service is good, depending on who's working the counter. Since 1977 Mario fed me and my friends of Dyre Ave... Best Calzones, Sicilian pies in The Bronx.. For 10 yrs I ate there and always return for a bit of Home... and Mario's for us Dyre Kids, This was Home!!! love to Mario...Mario jr.
