“First time at Armandos and I really enjoyed their tortas and homemade horchata. Crunchy soft bread, good size and fresh. The lettuce was chopped which made it fall out but thats no issue- it left me feeling full and I got the tiramisu. Good balance on it and hit the spot for desert. Definitely coming back and especially to hear Andrea sing. There's good singers during karaoke but im not one of them lol“

“Yummy yummy yummy! This food was delicious and authentic. Finally some good Mexican food in NYC! They were cash or Zelle only. They had some seating inside, mostly bar table height with one regular 4 seat table.
I had a huarache, which was perfectly fried with all the right toppings. My husband enjoyed the birria tacos, with the tortillas that had been classically marinated and pan fried. We'll be back.“

“Thank you Alexis and JJ for your amazing service! My mom and I were craving Mexican food while it was starting to snow outside so we came here on a whim. We were super impressed by the quality and presentation of the shrimp salad and tacos we ordered. And the salsa and chips on the house were a delightful surprise (very yummy too)! Prices were on the higher end but considering the location + the upscale vibe of the restaurant, it was worth it!“

“Solid breakfast burritos and great tortillas, which are like gold here. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu yet, but it’s just a matter of time - the salads look awesome. I moved here from Texas a year ago and love everything about the city (except for the rent), but I do miss Tex Mex and good tortillas. New Mexican is its own cuisine and sure hits the spot while also being healthier, and those tortillas are a game changer. So glad to have found this place, just had breakfast from here, and am already looking forward to going back.“

“I grabbed the Burger a La Mexicana & Fries from Eggstravaganza Mexican through MealPal and wow, this beef burger with pepper jack, jalapeno, avocado, and pico de gallo was super indulgent and flavorful. The brioche bun held everything perfectly—so satisfying!“

“We shared a GUACAMOLE with plantain chips. It was fresh and flavorful. I had the FAROE ISLAND SALMON. The salmon was flavorful and well done on the outside and moist on the inside. My husband enjoyed his medium CHURRASCO 14OZ. The drinks were strong 💪. I recommend this place. I enjoyed the old school salsa music.“

“Khalo is a modern take on a Mexican restaurant, leaning more toward Mexican-American fusion, and overall it’s a great spot. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent from start to finish. The décor is stylish and trendy, and the music gives the place more of a club vibe than a traditional Mexican restaurant, which actually adds to the experience depending on what you’re looking for.
While the menu doesn’t offer traditional tacos, what they do have is flavorful and well-prepared. The drinks are on the overpriced side, but that’s to be expected for the location. Parking is definitely a challenge—typical New York—but despite that, the restaurant is absolutely worth the visit.
I’d recommend checking it out if you’re in the mood for a fun, modern twist on Mexican cuisine.“

“Best molé I have eaten in years - and I’ve travelled to Mexico City specifically to eat. So good I HAD to compliment the chef. Complex, just the right amount of heat…what can I say except it’s REALLY good.
You sit on high wooden stools- so bring a seat cushion if you have sore butt issues but a few tamarind margaritas should help with that. A perfect pairing. Will return.“

“Fernando was a great bartender and server. He was lovely and made our experience great, we plan to come back. The drinks were amazing and the food was great too. We got the $100 dining credit from Groupon and only paid an extra $17 after doing bottomless brunch for 2 and 4 plates of food which is an amazing deal for the amount of drinks and food we got. Definitely recommend!“

“Love this neighborhood. Stumbled upon this gem. Atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, but what really stood out was the warm and friendly hospitality. Bartender Colm and another employee (female) went above and beyond—genuinely personable, attentive without being overbearing, and clearly passionate about making guests feel comfortable. “Lovely quaint restaurant next to the train station. I was interested in a cecina plate, which was not on the menu, but the owner graciously cooked to order for me. The mole veracruzano was different, unique and strong in flavor; unlike the mole I grew up eating. The mole enchiladas had plenty of shredded chicken. Very pleased with the service too. Would recommend, stop by!“

“Fresh delicious AUTHENTIC Mexican food here! This is one of three of the best Mexican food trucks in NYC! I recently went to their new location on 49st on Park Ave and everything was fantastic. Staff was friendly and efficient, the counters were clean and there are 4 chairs to sit and eat outside. My quesadilla was made fresh to order and it was one of the best I had. Prices are reasonable and seasoning is perfect and authentic 👌 Must try the food here if you are near any of their locations.“

“This spot is an absolute gem. Bob’s Bar nails it across the board: good vibes, even better food, and the kind of staff that makes you feel like you’ve been coming there for years (even if it’s your first time).
The space is bright and stylish with that perfect mix of cozy and cool. Black and white tile floors, huge windows, and a bar that actually makes you want to sit and stay a while. Whether you’re kicking off the night with friends or winding down solo, the atmosphere hits just right.
Drinks? On point. Food? Comfort classics with real flavor. The wings are a must. And don’t sleep on happy hour , it’s the kind of deal that makes you double check the bill.
Moreover, there’s always something happening , karaoke, trivia, or just people enjoying life. It’s got that laid-back energy but still feels alive. Makes sense why people keep coming back.

“First time here ,so glad We went. From the moment you walk in the door We were greeted. The guy in the blue shirt didn't get his name must be the manager or maybe the owner Had such enthusiasm I told him I've never been here before and he went through everything with me even though he had A-line of customers.. The food was absolutely amazing I Had the chicken and shrimp burrito and my husband had the Steak and shrimp burrito. We also ordered the curly fries with Bacon and queso And for dessert we ordered Fried oreos with powdered so good we ordered a second batch.. Would definitely Recommend this location . “I randomly went to this place. The food is really good. The portions are great and it’s reasonably priced. the gentlemen working there are super accommodating. They have their own pulled meat that is braised in vinegar. You should definitely try it. the fish taco is also very good.“

“I went here and ordered nachos which consisted of homemade tortilla chips, melted with cheese, in a bed of black beans puree, topped with crema, guacamole and pico de gallo (and shrimps=one of the options to choose from) and I really loved it. “Food was delicious and portion was a lot. Service was on top notch and delivery was on time. I took the pic while we were eating, it was more tacos and quesadillas but we eat it. Churros were very delicious and crunchy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. We often order food from this restaurant so I decided to review it today. Employees are very courteous. Birria had lots of meat and full of satisfying flavors. The price was reasonable. I highly recommend.“
