“Yummy yummy yummy! This food was delicious and authentic. Finally some good Mexican food in NYC! They were cash or Zelle only. They had some seating inside, mostly bar table height with one regular 4 seat table.
I had a huarache, which was perfectly fried with all the right toppings. My husband enjoyed the birria tacos, with the tortillas that had been classically marinated and pan fried. We'll be back.“

“Had a really good birthday dinner here. The menu had a mix of 'latin fusion' dishes, including Latin Sushi and classic Latin dishes from different countries (Cuban, Peruvian, Puerto Rican, Mexican, Dominican). It was a rainy Wednesday night so it wasn't crowded but the ambiance was still good with a mix of Latin and pop music playing in the background noticeable enough to hear if you wanted but not too loud to interfere with conversations. Service was good too. I plan on going again. We didn't get to eat on the patio because of the weather but looked like it would be really nice with good weather.“

“Solid breakfast burritos and great tortillas, which are like gold here. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu yet, but it’s just a matter of time - the salads look awesome. I moved here from Texas a year ago and love everything about the city (except for the rent), but I do miss Tex Mex and good tortillas. New Mexican is its own cuisine and sure hits the spot while also being healthier, and those tortillas are a game changer. So glad to have found this place, just had breakfast from here, and am already looking forward to going back.“

“I grabbed the Burger a La Mexicana & Fries from Eggstravaganza Mexican through MealPal and wow, this beef burger with pepper jack, jalapeno, avocado, and pico de gallo was super indulgent and flavorful. The brioche bun held everything perfectly—so satisfying!“

“We shared a GUACAMOLE with plantain chips. It was fresh and flavorful. I had the FAROE ISLAND SALMON. The salmon was flavorful and well done on the outside and moist on the inside. My husband enjoyed his medium CHURRASCO 14OZ. The drinks were strong 💪. I recommend this place. I enjoyed the old school salsa music.“

“A hidden gem! Really kind staff and the service was amazing. They were helpful with recommendations and being attentive to our allergies. Drinks were strong, and food was great. Limited space on the inside but that just means

The food was delicious, and the service was excellent from start to finish. The décor is stylish and trendy, and the music gives the place more of a club vibe than a traditional Mexican restaurant, which actually adds to the experience depending on what you’re looking for.

While the menu doesn’t offer traditional tacos, what they do have is flavorful and well-prepared. The drinks are on the overpriced side, but that’s to be expected for the location. Parking is definitely a challenge—typical New York—but despite that, the restaurant is absolutely worth the visit.

“We were in town for a wedding, and this was the place where they hosted a pre-wedding celebration. The atmosphere was exciting, and regardless of the large crowd, the servers did an amazing job. Everyone had such an amazing and memorable time.“

Bartender Colm and another employee (female) went above and beyond—genuinely personable, attentive without being overbearing, and clearly passionate about making guests feel comfortable. “Lovely quaint restaurant next to the train station. I was interested in a cecina plate, which was not on the menu, but the owner graciously cooked to order for me. The mole veracruzano was different, unique and strong in flavor; unlike the mole I grew up eating. The mole enchiladas had plenty of shredded chicken. Very pleased with the service too. Would recommend, stop by!“

“Fresh delicious AUTHENTIC Mexican food here! This is one of three of the best Mexican food trucks in NYC! I recently went to their new location on 49st on Park Ave and everything was fantastic. Staff was friendly and efficient, the counters were clean and there are 4 chairs to sit and eat outside. My quesadilla was made fresh to order and it was one of the best I had. Prices are reasonable and seasoning is perfect and authentic 👌 Must try the food here if you are near any of their locations.“

“First time here ,so glad We went. From the moment you walk in the door We were greeted. The guy in the blue shirt didn't get his name must be the manager or maybe the owner Had such enthusiasm I told him I've never been here before and he went through everything with me even though he had A-line of customers.. The food was absolutely amazing I Had the chicken and shrimp burrito and my husband had the Steak and shrimp burrito. We also ordered the curly fries with Bacon and queso And for dessert we ordered Fried oreos with powdered so good we ordered a second batch.. Would definitely Recommend this location . Big portions and great flavor. Lots of options and sides. The staff was super friendly and professional. We were served quickly and correctly. No complaints!

The vibe and décor are fun. Surfer/Cali vibes. Lots of neat wall-hangings with a few surprising items to find. They do a lot with the small space, but without feeling cluttered or claustrophobic. Very clean shop. Not a lot of space, but plenty of seating (or carry out). Bathrooms were very clean, too.

“I went here and ordered nachos which consisted of homemade tortilla chips, melted with cheese, in a bed of black beans puree, topped with crema, guacamole and pico de gallo (and shrimps=one of the options to choose from) and I really loved it. I am back in the Netherlands after a visit to New York and still thinking about it. Thank you so much for this lovely culinary experience.“

“Food was delicious and portion was a lot. Service was on top notch and delivery was on time. I took the pic while we were eating, it was more tacos and quesadillas but we eat it. Churros were very delicious and crunchy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. We often order food from this restaurant so I decided to review it today. Employees are very courteous. Birria had lots of meat and full of satisfying flavors. The price was reasonable. I highly recommend.“
