Cakes are just as delicious as always !! So grateful for the Valencia Crew for organizing a trip to multiple cities in Florida !! So many Boricuas showing up at all locations ! Truly special ! Valencia is #1 ….. not hurry up and open up in Palm Beach !
I don’t recommend because is not authentic Puerto Rican cake anymore. The company was sold to Mexican a year after Covid. A 6 inch cake is $32 dollars we do not price our products that way. We Puerto Rican want people to enjoy our cake. I am sad that the owner didn’t sell the company to a Puerto Rican to keep the same taste and values. The just took the money and ran. So sad. The quality of taste over the years have been in a steady decline in my opinion, and I have been having this cake on occasions in one way, shape, form or another for the past 50 years. My grandmother started us, then my parents, then for my kids....it has steadily been baked too dry, not enough filling, and increased sweetness of the outer cake frosting...all makes for a recipe of being disappointed....but you cant tell tham at Valencia, because they swear there is nothing...read full review
