I had the amazing chance to visit Ilforno bakery and try their delicious bread. The quality of the ingredients and the texture of the bread really stood out to me. I also want to give a shout-out to the wonderful team—their warmth and great attitude show not just in their baked goods, but in how nicely they treat every customer.
My sister and I became fans of a bread which Sergimmo, a salumeria in Whitestone sells. My sister asked for the name of the wholesaler which is Il Forno Bakery located at 521 Faile Street, in the Bronx. Julian A. Gonzalez, the owner was so gracious, friendly and informative when we met him. We loved the different artisanal breads we tried but my favorite was the sesame encrusted sourdough loaf baked to a golden brown. My sister loved the baguette.
