Suchhhh good sushi, so fresh. Might be my favorite Japanese restaurant in Brooklyn. Also great wine list! I love the interior too and it never seems to be too crowded.

I come here every Tuesday and have tried everything on the menu. This place is terrific. The sushi and sashimi are great, of course, but I prefer the rotating selection of dishes that you can't find at other Japanese restaurants. It's always a delight and an adventure. They also play great music, the interior is gorgeous, and the staff are friendly.

Stumbled in here randomly on a Friday with a group and had a great experience. Food was great and service friendly.

Food and service were both fantastic. A great vibe.I had Chawanmushi, two rolls (toro and mushroom), and the honey ice cream dessert.I'd never had chawanmushi before and it was delightful. The custard was silky and the red shrimp was so fresh! The mushroom roll could have used a bit more flavor and tasted like cucumber but the toro roll was gorgeously fatty. And dessert was such a fabulous way to end the night. The server answered all of my questions and checked in periodically.Highly recommend!

We were a big group who stopped by spontaneously, no res, to celebrate a big day. Nobody quite knew what they wanted. Basically a server’s worst nightmare ? and they accommodated us so patiently and thoroughly! I can’t thank them enough for the great service (not to mention the food and drinks were great). We’ll be back! (But we promise to make a reservation next time, haha!)

Shiso mojito tastes like a regular mojito, I liked it but if you can save money getting a regular mojito I would recommend that. Broccoli with pistachio was just the right amount of crunchiness and paired really well with pistachio, although I was surprised it was cold. Filling though and great for sharing and having veggies.Eel and cucumber roll tasted very fresh and perfectly balanced, good value for $10.Steamed sable fish was quite good.Service was good. Ambience was great.Great place for a dinner by yourself at the bar, although a little too expensive to be a frequent option.

Chirashi was priced $60 or $70, and I added uni for an extra $16. Pretty ordinary selection of fish, quality was decent. The uni was pretty good, but for $16, there were only 4 small pieces. The rice was pretty bland, I prefer more vinegar in my sushi rice, especially with richer fish. Staff was friendly and attentive, vibes were relaxed and great.

Amazing ambiance, great music, friendly service, delicious sushi. The decor is tasteful and the place has such an elevated comfortable vibe. Is definitely now one of my favorites.Try the tuna chutoro and yellowtail sushi.

Went only for sushi. Was severely disappointed. Rice and seaweed were both bad and fish was not great either. Wouldn’t go back.

Upon first walking in, I was immediately drawn by the atmosphere and a great vibes. We ordered a miso soup, a sashimi plate, and three rolls to share. I myself do not eat sashimi typically and prefer sushi, but I tasted a bit of the tuna sashimi which was incredibly fishy. The three rolls we ordered were bad- the rice was stale and the seaweed was chewy. The two of us ate one piece each of the three rolls and couldn't eat any more of it. Maybe it was an off night, but it was not for us. That being said, the wait staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient.

Amazing sushi spot around the area. We got about 6 sushi rolls and all of them was fresh and delicious, with amazing fish to rice ratio. Ordered a few appetizers too. Initially wanted the broccoli but it was sold out. We wanted a veggie dish but there weren't too many options on there so we picked the root salad, which wasn't bad, but I probably wouldn't order it again bc I'm not a fan of cold roots. The fish bone/skin dish was also super yummy but very tiny. Save room for the crème brûlée!

This place makes me feel like I’m in Japan (and I’ve been many times), the attention to detail, the ingredients, the staff, and the decor, even the music. It’s hard to describe but the vibe is real.
