Friendly reminder that they're cash only and take out only. I was expecting to dine in and wasn't prepared for cash only. Came in during a rush but they're quick. I got ground beef congee, wonton, beef stew, and stuff eggplant. Everything was fairly cheap for the amount I got. All the food were piping hot. This Cantonese canteen in Brooklyn is a hidden gem. They serve delicious BBQ meats (roasted duck, soy sauce chicken, char siu, barbecue pork, and crispy pork), congee, and noodles. It's a rare find in the city and a great asset to the local community. The staff is friendly, the ambiance is cozy, and the food is top-notch. This place can be chaotic at times but i always come here for my congee and fried dough sticks. Best congee ever and price is decent. This is the only chinese restaurant i like my congee from cause of the texture and taste. Wait times can be a bit long but the lines move.
