Used to come here often for their chopped roast meats hanging by . Place has became overcrowded due to accepting food stamps that their quality went downhill. Their meats are a hit or miss, sometimes too bland, sometimes too salty. The cha siew (roast pork) is chopped poorly, very thick slices and it’s dry and lacking flavor. Though they don’t always understand English, the food is super fresh and delicious! I love how crunchy the bbq pig is! Definitely recommend that! The duck tends to be a bit salty, but it’s still so good! I always get the meat over rice w/ veggies (which is sautéed cabbage leaves)
This place was originally located across the street from its current location. Now in this new location next to Istanbul, it added Chinese roast BBQ items in addition to its regular bakery goods and hot foods. Their bakery stuff is pretty average, price is standard (buns are about $1-1.50 each and a pack of buns is about $5).
