Really good pasta, great service and decent prices! I really don’t get why this place is not always full of people. I gues they are too discreet and they care only about good food and not making noise. Too bad, because their pasta and wine is as good as in Tuscany!
Shrimp scampi pasta was DELICIOUS
Great pasta, high quality and excellent flavors.
I want to be generous with delivery pasta, because I know it continues to cook (in the hot takeout box) while en route to me. However this pasta was unexpectedly bad.
I got the Rigatoni alla Luciana. some nice elements were there, capers (green flag) diced tomatoes (green flag), and the pasta looked nice too, but it tasted flat and dull. The beauty of ordering pasta is it’s supposed to be something you can’t easily recreate at home. This was something I could whip up in 10 minutes (and it would probably be less flat tasting)
the octopus was also okay quality. I’m sorry to the owner if this review comes across as harsh! I was super excited to try your place out because of the high reviews. Just trying to be honest :)
update: the restaurant response to this is pretty sassy lol. my only quality related comment was about your octopus. most of my review was about the flavor and feel of the dish. the rest of it seemed high quality! just not tasty
Everything about our experience was incredible. The music, the cozy atmosphere, the attentive service, and of course, the food! We ordered the carbonara and cacio e pepe, and both dishes were absolutely delicious, perfectly creamy and tasty. Already looking forward to our next visit!
The cutest little spot, just my vibe. Simple, clean, homey, and delcious!! The sweetest staff and neighborhood vibe is that’s what you’re going for!
Can’t recommend this place enough. Everything from start to finish was fantastic. We started off with a meat and cheese board, ordered Cacio e Pepe and Shrimp Scampi, and then finished it off with Tiramisu. All of the dishes were top notch. You won’t be disappointed!
I finally tried Al Dente in Park Slope. I was craving goooooood homemade pasta. I ordered the Venetian Parpadelle Duck Ragu. I was immediately befuddled by the presence of orange zest. Why? For such a prominent flavor, the chef should've mentioned it on the menu. This pasta did not need orange anything. It conflicted with the dish. It was all I could smell and taste. The paradelle was nice. I'll likely give this place another try, but I won't be ordering the duck ragu again.
Writing this review as I take myself out to dinner here. 3rd time I’ve been and plan on many more. Yummy bread, great wine, delicious pasta, relaxing ambiance.
Fantastic pasta. The cacio e pepe and duck ragu pappardelle were excellent - perfectly cooked, living up to the name. The garlic shrimp appetizer was great as well.

We waited 1 hour for our food. The fish was blend.
This meal was truly stunning. Every bite was phenomenal. The service was warm and inviting. We could just relax and enjoy. Food and vibe doesn’t get better than this.
The stuffed gnocchi, shrimp scampi and fresh focaccia was unbelievable. One of the best restaurants in park slope! A must try.
Some of the best pasta in park slope. Very authentic
Such a cute restaurant with attentive service and amazing food! Got the rigatoni al pesto, which was perfectly al dente. Recommend mozzarella, figs, and prosciutto — so fresh and delicious!!
