About Pangat

Pangat offers a small menu, which reviewers believe ensures everything tastes freshly prepared. The cuisine is described as flavorful with unique and fragrant spices, not a typical northern Indian/Punjabi menu.

Standout dishes include Butter Chicken, praised for its incredibly tender and juicy chicken with a creamy, nutty, and perfectly balanced sauce, considered the best ever by one reviewer. Chili Paneer is another highlight, an Indo-Chinese dish with a creamy paneer texture adding depth and richness, recommended with rice. The Silver Pomfret Rava Fry is noted for being nicely seasoned and perfectly fried. The Misal Pav is a favorite, offering a wonderful taste and a spicy kick that is just right.

Reviewers are happy with their meals, finding the food to be top-quality and reasonably priced, with a dedication to fresh preparation. Pangat is a great addition to the neighborhood and highly recommended for those seeking delicious and fresh Indian food.

An absolute must-visit for anyone craving authentic Maharashtrian flavors! My best friends and I recently dined here, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish.

The standout star of the meal was undoubtedly the **Ghati chicken**—it was packed with rich, bold, fiery spices that delivered an unforgettable kick. The **chicken chili** was equally delicious, offering a savory, well-balanced flavor that complemented the spread perfectly.

The food at Pangat was really, really good. The dahi puri was my favorite. It was huge, and with the very first bite, there was this incredible burst of flavors. It wasn’t overly sweet, and it had the perfect level of spice.

I also loved the misal pav. I honestly didn’t expect to find misal pav of this quality here in New York. The masala papad was equally delicious, with a lovely lemony and zesty flavor.
