This is a plucky little-neighborhood-bar-that-could that makes you feel like you're sitting in an updated version of a 1920's Parisian expat hangout. It's an easy place to start up a conversation with strangers at the bar. The menu is limited, but good - I've enjoyed the wings, the fries, and the oysters. The cocktails are also quite good. I see the owner there frequently, and he and his team seem dedicated to making it a fun place to be.
This used to my first date bar of choice because the B44 bus stops right in front and if the date went badly I could look up the schedule and run out and get on the bus and go home! The menu changes a lot but the drinks are always good.

Always a good time at bad luck. A cozy, intimate space that’s great for a date or small groups; love the horseshoe bar shape. The bartender tonight was so friendly and nice.Loved the bar sando (mortadella sandwich), and broccoli was also super tasty.
