Pros: food was good and staff was friendly

Cons: it's overpriced and the food portions are way too small. I left still hungry and got pizza down the street. I will NOT be returning

Happy hour prices are great. Yucca fries? Worst I ever had. Their dipping sauce? Best ever. But really. Don’t get the fries. Hard as hell and undercooked. No bueno.

First of all, the service is incredible. The bartenders are professional and make the most incredible cocktails, even if you ask for off menu. The food is excellent and solid core
Menu with excellent rotational seasonal.

Absolutely love Bar San Miguel! You truly can't go wrong with anything on the menu but the true winners are the Carne Asada, Short Rib tacos and Queso with chorizo. Happy hour is a must for $10 margaritas plus Uriel and Claudia will both treat you as family!

Came here for my boyfriends birthday dinner and everything was perfect! The ambiance, the food, and the drinks! Highly recommend the tuna taquitos, Baja style fish tacos, churros with ice cream and pomegranate mezcalita. The warm churros with the vanilla ice cream were truly the show stopper. All of it to die for and will be coming back!

We recently had a surprise 80th birthday party for my father at Bar San Miguel. Petru and his team were top-notch! He made planning easy and was very accommodating. The food and drinks were excellent! The service for our group of 21 was handled seamlessly. We will definitely be back!

I absolutely loved the aesthetics of this bar. Loved the backyard. It's all beautifully decorated. They have a great happy hour. I had a Pomegranate Mezcalita and it was delicious. I didn't try the food, so I can't comment on it. The service is good. Jaime, the bartender and Claudia, the server, were both very hospitable. I would definitely come back. I have to try some food next time.

Such a fun night we had. Uriel behind the bar managed to make us feel important while busting his butt pouring drinks, serving people, seating folk, smiling, explaining the menu and cocktails, all the while never letting us see him sweat. We enjoyed small plates of tuna tartar, fish tacos and a wonderful special beef taco with an amazing consommé dipping sauce. We wish this very fairly priced Carroll Gardens spot all the very best.

The bartender knew what he was doing the drinks, did not skimp on the tequila, those drinks were strong. Had 2 of the El Picante and definitely was well worth the price. The beef empanadas were 10/10. Tacos were okay. Quesadilla was very good. The server didn’t seem like she wanted to be there, but hey we all have bad days. The frozen margaritas were also great. The pomegranate was not my favorite, pretty though.

The best Mexican restaurant this side of Brooklyn. The food, delish, the drinks refreshing and well done. The outdoor space is a bonus

What an amazing experience me and my friends had at this restaurant. I came for happy hour and was immediately blown away by the calm decor and beautiful paintings and sculptures all around the restaurant. The owner really knew what they were doing when designing the layout of this restaurant because it really transport you to a different place and I love that. I think I had some of the best margaritas in my entire life. Here you have to try the green Mezcal margarita it is amazing. I have the El Pastore tacos, which were chefs kiss and the churros. I could instantly tell that they were made from scratch in house and that is really important to me. All in all, I highly recommend coming to this restaurant all of the servers were attentive to my table not just one and I really loved The whole overall experience. This place is a must!

We love their enchiladas and their guacamole is one of the best in Brooklyn. It's a cozy, inviting space for when you want to have a relaxing meal.
