Based on reviews, Bay Ridge Fish Market is a hidden gem in the heart of Bay Ridge. The food is amazing and a must try. The place is clean, bright, and inviting, looking more like a seafood market than a restaurant. Menu items are all phenomenal, with great flavor without the use of heavy handed salt. The fried calamari was so bomb. Specific meals mentioned include scallops, fried shrimp and calamari, a grilled taco sandwich, fried red snapper, a snapper combo with added shrimp, a fried fish and shrimp combo, a salmon burger, clam chowder soup, lobster bisque, crab cakes, a lobster roll, and roasted corn and broccoli with garlic. The food is fresh and tasty, and you cannot beat the freshness of a fish market. The host and staff make you feel like family, and they are humble, respectful, and kind. The owner and staff are extremely lovely and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious, and the good portion for the price means they truly try to give you the best experience. It is a 10/10 recommendation.
