About Blanca

Blanca is a restaurant that offers an exceptional culinary experience. Under the skilled direction of Chef Victoria Blamey, the restaurant features a bold menu that is seafood-centric and infuses new age and Chilean elements, creating flavors that tantalize and invigorate. Blanca offers an 18-course tasting menu, served over a three-hour culinary excursion, with six chefs preparing each course. The flavors are intense and sophisticated, with the pairing of seemingly contrary ingredients, such as pasta with lavender and celery foam, crab empanadas with wakame, and crab with sauerkraut. The food is thought-provoking and challenges the norms of fine dining, but it works exceptionally well. The restaurant's decor is Japanese minimalist, with the most notable feature being the large tuna head on the wall. Blanca is well worth the more than $300 per head price, but reservations are at least two months out, so guests need to be well-organized or know someone to secure a table.

Thanks to All of you for a wonderful honeymoon dinner . Bussi from vienna <3

Most toppest-tier extended tasting menu spots in NY leave me a bit cold - the ultra-refinement feels sterile and saps the joy and discovery of a Noma, Gaggan, or Quintonil. EMP at its (pre-Vegan) height bored me, Atomix is obviously excellent but I vastly prefer the food and soul of Atoboy (maybe it’s just the chicken, but still - also I’ve never been to Le Bernardin so no shade to them).

Blanca, however, is now the one in the city I’d slot with my favorites ever...read full review
