Recommend! The food is top-notch.
THE MOST TERRIBLE FOOD EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD IN THE UNITED STATES!
I was served a stale bowl of cow leg (nkwobi) and with the first bite, I told them to take it away since it was literally inedible!
The owner came and insisted that since I had tasted the food, I MUST pay for it be it stale or fresh. In her opinion, I should have known the food was stale by mere looking at it. I hate that I couldn’t make a big deal out of this since I am just on transit and had little to...read full review

Buka is a Nigerian restaurant known for its authentic and richly flavored dishes, such as Bitter leaf soup, Egusi, and Tilapia. Vegetarian options include Asaro, Jollof rice, and fufu. The service can be improved, but the food, prepared with authentic herbs, spices, and dried fish, has been highly praised for its native taste. Customers have described the food as very flavorful, well seasoned, and mouth watering, with some dishes like goat and beef receiving special praise. The restaurant has limited seats and a not-so-cozy setup for dining in, so many prefer to order out. The owners are friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere. The music can be loud, especially late on Saturday nights, but the overall experience is highly recommended. Many guests find the food to be very delicious and have already recommended the place to others, with plans to return.
