Café Fés Reviews
I live nearby and wanted to try out their lamb tagine for years. Finally decided to visit and was pleasantly surprised, expectations exceeded! Loved the food and drink options, vibes, service and that they served chilled water in a tall bottle. Definitely will come back.
V-day dinner had unexpected holiday menu and live music. A bit cheesy but enjoyable. Food and drinks as always deserve top billing.
Excellent Moroccan food and prices are reasonable which is nice. The zaalouk is very addictive and the bastilla is also well done. I'd say it's more of a chicken forward bastilla but it works really well. The chicken tagine meat fell right off of the bone. Café Fés is a Moroccan restaurant that offers delicious food, reasonable prices, and a cozy atmosphere. Popular dishes include the lamb tagine and chicken bastilla, which is described as chicken-forward and cooked to perfection. The chicken tagine meat is also praised for being tender and full of flavor. The roasted cauliflower with lemon tahini and almonds, as well as the hummus, are also well-liked. However, there was some disappointment with a chocolate souffle dish, which was described as more of a small chocolate lava cake, without the rising or souffle texture as advertised. The service is friendly and accommodating, with staff who are willing to split the bill among large groups. The restaurant is a great place to celebrate special occasions.
