Cafe Kestrel is a small, cozy hidden gem with excellent service and ambiance. The food is amazing, creative, and full of flavor with a nice European touch. Meals like the Fried Halloumi, Bread with Butter, Cornish Yarg, Seafood Terrine, Scallops, Duck Confit, Big Eye Tuna, halibut, tuna with greens, poached egg dish, and smoked salmon dish are all delicious. The star of some dishes are the potato sides. The apricot cake is a must must. The drink list is incredible. The space is small and charming, good for small parties or a date, so booking in advance is recommended. Staff is kind, knowledgeable, welcoming, and very cool. The atmosphere is cozy with a great playlist and fun decor. Customers feel well taken care of and will definitely be back.
