The customer service was poor and it was too much money. They charged me for my food for More, School, chicken stew, chicken, rice, and peas and macaroni salad for two plate plates as the Mayor Brownsville, who run the city who put resources and best die. I should never got treated like a middle like a dirt class person

The only thing better than the service is the food.

I was very disappointed with the chicken roti. I usually get the curry chickem roti, but decided to try the jetk chicken, since I I like spicy cicken. It was extremely dry. There was no sauce on the meat which also made the roti dry & tasteless. I had specifically made notes in my online order. The curry chicken roti is usually well seasoned & wet with veggies.I was extreamly disappointed with the dry jerk meat & dry bread. I truly thougut it would be made like the curry chicken roti w/ sauce & veggies. Geez!

As a frequent customer, the quality of the beef patties has gone DOWN the past 6 months!!!

From being well burnt to my LAST STRAW of having a piece of plastic string in my beef patty🤮🤢 worst fear unlocked, as I already ate piece the enclosed pastry

As a fellow Jamaican, I love to support small business and my people BUT the lack of concern/care from the male manager and NOT GETTING A FULL REFUND (didn’t even bother to eat the rest of the food) - is insane.

I can deal with attitudes and under qualified management BUT I can’t stand for poor food quality, especially at that price point & w/ Jamaican reputation attached! Things MUST change.

But weh di string come from doh?!?!? Garbage bag string? Investigation fi gwan. Jesus like we don’t have enough plastics in our food.

Ordered festival, curry chicken meal and a jerk chicken meal. Was told you were sold out of festival, cool. Got my order and it’s one meal of oxtails… it’s crazy how these restaurants have no problem taking our money but the quality control and attention to details are trash. Don’t worry I won’t be ordering again.

The food is absolutely amazing. I order once a week over the summer and I get the best service. The food is extremely tasty and everyone is so helpful.

The oxtail Rasta pasta is absolutely delicious.

I would highly recommend this place.

Cartaz serves some of the best Jamaican breakfasts around. The ackee and saltfish is always on point, and the fried dumplings are perfectly made—one of my favorites! Their stew fish is also really good, especially when paired with ackee and saltfish or callaloo and saltfish. Be sure to get there before 9 a.m., as they sell out quickly! I personally like mine mixed with ackee, saltfish, and callaloo. Thank you Chrissy

Jerk chicken was evenly cooked throughout nice and juicy inside and no burnt parts in the outside with the right amount of spice. One of the best I have tried!

I bought a medium BBQ with Rice n Peas. The food was good but I am HIGHLY disappointed that they sold me chicken that was not edible. The bbq chicken was covered in sauce so I didn’t notice it was BUN UP (burnt) until I bit in it.

I am leaving a review because they have the audacity to sell me food they would not eat. In my opinion, If you want bbq chicken to eat look elsewhere!

Definitely ate the rice because I wasn’t gonna waste it, plus taste good. In my pics you can see that all I can do it chew the dry up meat fiddi likkle sauce. You’re doing good but you can DO BETTER. Throw OLD FOOD away don’t SELL IT

Rice and Pease = 8 - 10
Veg= good
Bbq Chicken = BURNT AF

i dont know what has happened but this place has gotten worst over the past few months....there used to be 4-5 black women that worked here who were amazing. because i came quite frequently they often knew my order. i even seen the first chef coming in at 3/4 am in the morning to cook the food..he knows my go-to breakfast orders.

recently they hired a guy and girl who are horrible....my food is always half a**...i ordered a larged seafood soup a few weeks ago they gave me all broth and barely any contents...i recently ot a small seafood soup with all vegetables and one piece of fish. i ordered banana porridge she gave me regular on several. occasions. the lady comes to work tweaked our or something because she's out of it and the guy moves so slow.

i will not be coming back until those two are gone and the other black women are back.
