Centanni had been my go-to Italian in Crown Heights for years. It’s very cute (though the indoor tables are a bit crowded now), I love the covered patio, and enjoy the food. It can sometimes vary in quality as I think they’ve had different chefs at different times. Shout out to their gluten free pasta option and yummy affordable brunch.

This as far as I know is the only Italian restaurant in the immediate vincity .and if it's not its definitely the most popular. I ate here once with my wife .I had my favorite spaghetti and meat balls delicious! But mostly I pick up my order .a couple of times I would just walk in and order in the early evening and there will be a male bartender who seems kind and I would sit at the bar and wait for my order . He will asked me if I wanted water and i felt relaxed. And sometimes...

The staff there were very competent and helpful as I came there with two young grandchildren. Meatballs and calamari were loved by myself and the young kiddos. Excellent lasagna! My 2 year old grandson devoured 1/2 entree portion! Lovely atmosphere with a moody indoor space and an outside garden type experience
