Commons Cafe

We held a brunch for around 75 out of town guests and family at Commons Café the morning following our wedding. Coordinating reservations and the menu with Melissa was easy to do. She is very professional, and her staff is great as well. We had the whole back room with a spread set out for guests to come and go as they pleased, mostly to grab a bite and to say goodbye after the wedding before heading home. This place was a nice quiet vibe for me. I was looking for a spot for me to be warm and get some homework done before I met up with people at a bar for Happy Hour and then class afterwards... Don't judge lol I found the Brooklyn Commons, it was extremely cozy. Lots of space to park up and do work. The bathrooms were CLEAN and the snacks and beverages affordable.. It is almost impossible to elucidate all of the reasons why I absolutely LOVE this cafe. The food is delicious - the House Salad is scrumptious, the Hibiscus iced tea served in a lovely glass is delicious, and the pastries are excellent, especially the macaroons, which are beyond delicious, and the Ginger Cookie with the lemon icing.
