Commonwealth Reviews
The Commonwealth Bar was just the place I could hang with my friends, teach my kids the nuance of both pinball and juke box proficiency. Highly recommended. Also, the Moscow Mules are great.
Quaint little bar with KENTUCKY flair
Just a comfy bar to sit with a group or to meet new people. A nice cool backyard with plenty of seating.
Bartenders are down to earth and have wide selection of spirts. Tracey help me find my new celebratory whiskey have. I've been there 3-4 times now and is now in my rotation when in the area.

Commonwealth is a cozy dive bar with great ambience and warm lighting. Located on Brooklyn's 5th Ave, which TimeOut magazine recently named the coolest street in NYC, the bar offers a variety of cocktails, including tasty mocktails like the strawberry one. They also have unique craft beers like sours, along with 16 beers on tap, beer and shot specials, domestic and imported bottles and cans, wine, and several signature cocktails such as Espolon and Jagermeister. The friendly bartenders, including Arthur, create a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels at home, whether enjoying pinball machines, the old-school jukebox with handwritten song selections from Velvet Underground to The Doors and The Ramones, or relaxing on the brick patio with picnic benches and Christmas lights. The space is lively yet softened by ambient lighting, with shelves lined with action figures, dolls, stuffed animals, vases, books, an abacus, and board games like Scrabble and Monopoly. Service is excellent, and the eclectic staff add to the warm vibe. Commonwealth in Park Slope is the perfect spot to unwind on a Friday or Saturday night.
