Atmosphere and service is wonderful but food was uneven. Oysters were fresh and delicious, but our t-bone steak, ordered medium rare, was way more on the rare side and not very flavorful. The creamed spinach was the best of the sides, the onion rings crispy but too salty. Baked Alaska was yummy although more meringue than ice cream. For a $400 meal we were a bit disappointed.
The Valentine's Day menu was delicious, g&t is our go to for special occasions and with one exception everything was terrific. The sundae was an outstanding surprise, definitely the best thing on the menu. The second course lobster bisque was a big letdown, I ate maybe two bites and left the rest. When my bowl was cleared I told them that it was off. No response. I don't think the message was passed along as our server would have definitely taken action. But, other...
Everything was great. Not fe a budget concious eater, so plan to spend some Benjamind. The one suggestiin i would hive is that The baked Alaska should be served with a flame burning 🔥
