I had the prefix menu , food was just ok. We had shrimp, steak, chicken . The service was mediocre. Martini was not it . We had to return it . It was just vodka.

A standout experience from start to finish.

Giando on the Water in Brooklyn was the perfect venue for our wedding! The Williamsburg location and breathtaking waterfront views created a stunning backdrop for both our ceremony and reception. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, thanks in large part to Joe and Liz, who were incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the entire planning process. Liz’s attention to detail is truly exceptional, and both she and Joe were an absolute pleasure to work with— theyre both kind, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day special. From the food and cake to the overall flow of the event, everything exceeded our expectations. We had an amazing time, and looking back, it was all worth it! We highly recommend Giando on the Water to anyone searching for a wedding venue in the tri-state area, especially within NYC. Five plus stars!

We've used this venue for residency graduation for many years. View of the bridge and water is great, amazing sunset photos. As for the food, the beef has consistently been dry to the point of being nearly inedible; otherwise, the salmon, calamari, and eggplant parmigiana are reliably good.

We were well taken care of for the entire dinner. They nailed the fried calamari, delicious crunchy Italian bread, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, onion, and garlic appetizers, the main course of veal, rigatoni was all delicious. The service was excellent.

I had my daughter’s bridal shower at Giando’s last weekend and everything was perfect! Joe is a pleasure to work with and ensures that everything goes as planned. Liz set up the room so beautifully, it exceeded expectations. The service and food were excellent! The views are spectacular!

Would stay away from doing any business with the event manager, Joe.

My husband and I got married at Giando’s on Dec 28 2024 and it was utter perfection. Before we were even engaged I had a vision of a stunning nighttime ceremony, lit by tons candles, and a cityscape backdrop, and the space at Giando’s as well as Joe and his staff truly made my vision come to life with all of that and more with not one but two bridges to light up our photos PERFECTLY! Even though it was one of the cloudiest days (and rained a ton), the skyline came through and painted the most beautiful background for our night and our guests were truly in awe. We got SO many compliments on stunning room, views, and the amazing food which was so important to us (people particularly loved how they got not one but two filets!). They have a hugeee, bright, and beautiful bridal suite complete with a bar and more of that city skyline, where I took my getting ready photos with all my girls and family (I’m one of nine just to show you how much room there was), and I particularly loved the awesome elevator photos we got, SO CUTE! It was better than my pintrest board could have ever predicted! The staff was also incredible! I’m a bit type A and got married right around the holidays so extra stress but Joe and his team were more than patient, accommodating working with our many DIYs, flipping the ceremony space so fast despite all my little details, and they truly treated us like family. We could not be happier! Everyone says you won’t eat and at least one thing will go wrong but we ATE and we had zero regrets all night! It was perfection. Little bonus that we can come back every year to the restaurant for the same amazing food and views for our anniversary 🥰 1000/10!!

We went for cocktails on a Friday night. This spot gives you one of the most beautiful views of Manhattan and the NYC skyline. The atmosphere is old school and the service is impeccable.

We had the espresso martini, negroni, g&t and manhattan. 10/10

The patio in the summer months is a perfect spot.

Came in at 7 pm. They closed because of the snow but the doors were open. They were very disrespectful and reluctant to serve us. Said we can sit and order but we should order fast. My mother and father were very respectful. Seemed they were looking for an excuse to have an attitude. The vibe was weird so we left. The workers should be more respectful and professional.

Their elevator broke with me and my wife in it during our wedding for an hour had to be taken out by FDNY. The most the venue offered was a free dinner for our troubles. Do not waste your money or time.
