We were at Giando's for a wedding. Valet parking was easy and pleasant. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Staff could be better trained. Atmosphere was very good. Very good location. Food was mass produced for the wedding and was simply executed but good. Before wedding started there was a cash bar which was pricey. Wine selection at the bar was not good. Overall good experience for atmosphere, service and banquet food. I cannot comment on the restaurant.

We just had our wedding and it was amazing. Joe was a pleasure to work with and made the preparation process so easy. The views are amazing . The food is delicious all my guests were raving and want to go back to the restaurant part for dinner. Liz did an amazing job setting up the decorations, Maritza my bridal attendant was very attentive and on point , and the whole staff were very professional and attentive. They really make you feel like family. The weather did not cooperate but the staff set up everything so perfectly and beautifully I didn’t care about the weather anymore. They are truly amazing there and made everything so seamless and easy for us on our big day . Thank you all so much, we look forward to spending our anniversaries there with you Nicole and Andres.

I attended a retirement party here. I got their too late to taste the food but the view was amazing. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The building has several floors of catering space in this particular party was on the first floor. They all have the same view of Downtown Manhattan and the bridges. Definitely a great location in Brooklyn, for sweet 16, cotillion, bar/bat mitzvah or baraka, or a small wedding.

Horrible service and they put automatic gratuity for a party under 6 and it was more than 50%....... they provided no service we had to call them over multiple times. Food was nothing special and drinks tasted like cough syrup.

From the moment I walked in, I was treated like an absolute princess bride. Joe, the manager, is not only extremely professional and honest, but also funny—which made the entire experience even more enjoyable! Needless to say, we booked the venue that very night. From that moment forward, Joe and his entire staff went above and beyond to make sure every question was answered and every request fulfilled.
They even let me rehearse my first dance at the venue three or four times before the wedding, which meant so much. Joe is truly professional, down-to-earth, and committed to making everything perfect.
Our wedding was nothing short of spectacular—the wedding of the year! Flamur and I have been married less than a week, and our phones are still ringing off the hook with guests raving about the incredible food and the breathtaking views. The staff was so attentive and helpful, and everything came together flawlessly.
If you’re considering booking any kind of event—from a shower, to a birthday, to a wedding—this is absolutely the place. We now feel like family here.

My penne vodka was DELICIOUS (and they made it without meat). The rest of the food was good. Prices for food and drinks were also great for the large portion sizes. It was very loud inside and there was a birthday party next to us. Views were great!

Giando’s on the Water exceeded all of our expectations, and I can honestly say I’ll be hosting all of my future celebrations and events here.
