Based on the reviews, Barano Restaurant is a neighborhood spot with a warm and gorgeous space that is dimly lit with big tables. The food is high-quality and outstanding, with consistently great quality that never feels pretentious. The pasta is always a standout, simple and full of flavor. The garlic bread with burrata and the rainbow cookie sundae are nonnegotiable. The saffron gigli is recommended for a sweet/savory combo, and the rainbow nonna pie is a crowd pleaser. The special lamb ribs were tender with the best flavor. The service is attentive and knowledgeable, with very friendly servers. The place can be very loud, and for an appetizer and main it can take 60+ minutes between courses. It is always full of families and people from the community enjoying a good meal.
