I bought a cinnamon roll and it was dry and expensive. I've had way better vegan pastries and baked goods. The place is cute though. But I wouldn't say it's worth it.

The food is so great and convenient on my way to work. Absolutely delicious pastries and sandwiches! However, I have ordered pickup 3 times and each time they somehow are unaware of the order when I arrive and I have to wait for another 10-15 minutes, even though I received confirmation of the order a few mins after ordering. I told the person working about this and they said they would let their manager know. I would order here so much more frequently if this issue was resolved.

Not really 100% vegan - all food comes from a kitchen that also serves meat. Burrito was blah. Not worth going - better options close by.

Much of what I like about Guevara Domino Park is that it exists in my neighborhood, it's the closest 'fully' vegan spot to me and having it near the park is convenient. But as others have noted, it's kind of a confusing experience, while Guevara's is 100% vegan the menu you're handed is for the Mekelburg's restaurant which is very much not vegan and the food is all cooked in and served by their kitchen. Today I tried a special seasonal latte that was fig flavored and it was really nice, lightly sweet and subtle suggestion of fig with frothy oat milk, made by the Guevara's barista in the cafe. And I got the vegan burrito which was pretty good-- kind of a healthier take, filled with Just Egg, rice & black beans, cashew crema, topped with some kind of green sauce which I'm not sure what it was, maybe also sesame seeds??? and served with a tasty side salad. My partner got the B.E.C. and liked that a lot, although he had wanted the bagel and vegan lox but it was no longer on the menu. Guevara's cafe has cute decor and you can eat in their corner area within the bigger space. It's located inside the small trendy Mekelburg's gourmet grocery and ('real' meat & cheese) deli with lively (loud) pop music playing -so it feels sort of 'cool' and the shop has an interesting selection of sundries, such as vegan babka, locally roasted coffee beans named for streets in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, quirky cards etc. so it can be a good spot to pick up a last minute gift. Wednesday they supposedly have Trivia night at the Mekelburg's bar & restaurant so overall, I'm glad to have this local spot with vegan food in South Williamsburg. #Veganuary

A gusty waterfront belies a friendly experience with astonishing variety. The most important thing to know is to take a quick left to visit the vegan bakery; the shops most exceptional feature and a prized emerald. I met Andrea there who shared lore about the local and house made all vegan culinary creations that I could take. This is a superb place to pick out a gift. Get two though because the first may not make it home.Otherwise the audio is decently done despite the reflective environment. Full upbeat rhythms without being overbearing because its not distorted. So someone thoughtfully engineered the experience. The bottomline is that most people will feel warmed here and likely take something special home with them.Vegetarian options: the rest of the shop offers specialty items some non vegetarian(poo). the most strict of us should enjoy the cafe which is 100% vegan.

The cute cafe closes early but the bar in the back serves Guevara's food until late at night which makes the opening and closing hours a bit confusing. Got the torta milanesa and it was just ok, I ended up a little disappointed. I didn't try the pastries or coffee but they looked much better.

Was okay but not worth the price. The bagels were very dry and like cheap frozen ones whiteout weight. Can of kombucha for 8$.

I've been to Guevaras a few times now and absolutely LOVE their food. As a vegetarian is hard to find good vegan/vegetarian options and Guevaras is the perfect spot for that. The staff are friendly and I love the little plant and candles shop inside. Definitely bring friends here every time they're in town!

Meh. I bet if the food was hot, it’d be a lot better. My food was room temp at best -empanada was actually cold though and the floor was sticky. First vegan place I go to in New York and it was a bit subpar - kinda disappointing but what can ya do.

Guevara is okay for the price, small portions and nothing to rave about quality but would not go back because of the service. You are getting what you pay for in food quality and as a family of vegans who live in Williamsburg, there is way more better options for eating vegan nearby. But my son likes the doughnuts but the owner Alicia has a horrible attitude and makes it truly an uncomfortable experience when she is around. My son had to go to the bathroom to wash his hands after eating the tres leche and the owners Alicia Guevara questioned my husband for proof and then didnt believe him and went over to double check with the server of the cafe. She then embarrassed my son and I when we left with saying good bye in a condescending voice which my son then asked me if he did anything wrong when we were leaving. We are locals since 2001 of the Williamsburg North neighborhood and native nyers, finding out that the woman who harassed and yelled at my family is actually the owner made this even worse! Appalling - shame on you!

I’ve had the “bacon egg cheese” breakfast sandwich 3days in a row now. It’s a most excellent sandwich, slightly spicy and very satisfying vegan version.

We took our delicious tortas down to Domino Park! It was healthy and tasty but nothing too inventive. The highlight was the vegan donuts; we got guava and dulce de leche! Would return for sure.
