Small portions. Didn’t got a long way with what we paid. Food wasn’t bad but not the best in the city. Olive oil cake at the end of the night was the best thing we had.

I came to Hart's many years ago, and returned recently with pleasant but vague memories. Hart's is part of the same family as The Fly, which explicitly brands itself as a "chicken bar," and yet somehow the menu here is less vegetarian friendly. We had just finished sharing two massive slices of sourdough, and I was looking forward to the custom vegetarian dish that had been promised by the kitchen. What a surprise it was when out came the piece de resistance, two MORE pieces of sourdough bread, this time fried and covered with a cassoulet-esque tomato bean sauce. While I do appreciate the creativity, doesn't bread with tomato sauce feel a bit like what your college roommate who never cooked before makes after a long night out freshman year? Keeping two stars because the ricotta doughnuts were good.

What a great time! Hart's was a great intimate evening. The restaurant is small, cozy but warm and inviting. The dim lights create such a romantic and private atmosphere even while sitting next to other tables. It was a nice evening of good service, great conversation and a lovely atmosphere. The food was also very good. The donut appetizer was savory and delicious. The clam toast was pretty good. The trout was incredible. It was light but filling and tasty. I would return just for that dish. The lamb burger was also a hit. The pork dish was good as well. We didn't really enjoy the lemon curd dessert but the drinks and wine selections were all wonderful.

No notes here. It is consistently a phenomenal experience. The service is casual yet so knowledgeable, the interior is such a cute vibe and the food is exceptional. It always delivers — go if you

Avoid this place if you can. Service was really bad. Waiter said orders had to be placed all at once and eye rolled when we asked for the menu to see if we wanted dessert.Tables are tiny. The food is an absurd try to escalate dishes with horrible compositions. The citrus salad is just orange wedges with olive oil and a vinagrette. Uncomfortable and overrated. Not coming back. Go to place de fetes instead, better wine and dishes, also local spot.

This place's food was inconsistent. Though the fried oysters had me giddy with anticipation, they were little and had a musky, harsh taste. In contrast, the clam toast had excellent seasoning and was cooked to absolute perfection.I also suggest ordering the olive oil cake, squash with taleggio, and citrus salad! Please grab the clam toast; you could pass on the oysters and the olive oil cake. For the record, the service took an hour and a half, and we ordered a total of five appetizers and a dessert.

Harts is a hidden gem that captivates with its seasonal culinary delights. The ever-changing menu keeps things fresh, offering a delightful variety. Despite the cozy space and limited room between patrons, the charm of this small restaurant adds to its appeal. The staff's warmth and attentiveness contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. The standout feature, however, is the exceptional drinks - from a remarkable wine selection to creatively crafted beverages, it truly excels in the art of libations. It's a must-visit for those who appreciate both outstanding cuisine and a cozy, intimate setting.

The food here was a hit or miss. I was extremely excited for the fried oysters, but the ones we received were small and tasted bitter and musky. The clam toast on the other hand, was spectacularly seasoned and cooked to perfection.I would also recommend getting the citrus salad, squash with taleggio, and the olive oil cake! You could forgo the olive oil cake and the oysters, but please get the clam toast. We ordered a total of 5 appetizers and a dessert and the service took an hour and a half, so make of that what you will.

Great food, cocktails, and vibes! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the marinated beets, the clams and toast, the fresh ricotta, and the pork Milanese. We had both the olive oil cake and the sesame pudding for dessert which were both delicious! Would recommend, and will plan to return!
