All around perfect place for drinks and delicious nosh. Low light, old school vibe with a famed pic of FDR on the wall brings you back to Brooklyn of the 1930s. Great place.

Truly appalling treatment by a neighborhood establishment. Sat down and waited, without any luck, for nearly 40 minutes for a server to come by or even acknowledge us. Eventually my husband walked up to the bar to order, for which he was promptly scolded by the bartender, even after explaining that no one had come to our table.
Such a shame as we'd been so excited to make this a regular spot for us. My advice - Spare yourselves the humiliation and your wallet the pain and go literally anywhere else.

Server was rude before we were even fully sat. A place that calls its menu “bill of fare” and acts like a prohibition era speakeasy really needs to step it up with bourbons beyond woodford reserve and bulleit.

When you first walk in to HP, you assume its a chill laid back place thats prob gonna serve ok food and drink- you know a comfortable place where you can just chill. It's a chill laid back place for sure but soooooo much more. Drinks and food was excellent, done really well. The bartender knows his stuff! best drink I have had in a while! My GF really loved our time here and will return.
