I've been coming here for breakfast for the past few weeks. The young lady and young man taking orders always greets the customer with a friendly good morning. I always get the saltfish and banana, and it is always constantly delicious. If you're looking for a great home cooked breakfast like grandma use to make Joyce's is the place.
When we first moved in the area, my sister was obsessed with their j*** chicken. Thats all she would get and it came with bread. A few years ago I had the fried chicken meal. It was ok. Now a few days ago I had the soup which was so so. Im honestly not sure how much business they get here still. Its never crowded. Inside has an area to sit which is surprisingly a decent size. I've been coming here for 20 years. It's my favorite Jamaican restaurant in the world. Their fried chicken with red sauce is one of my favorite dishes ever. Their oxtails are great. Excellent rice and peas. Wonderful steamed veggies. They don't always have fruit punch, but if they do then definitely grab it. They've been family owned for 40 years. Well worth the drive if you don't live in the area.
