This place is great: delicious, home-cooked style food, generous portions, it's one of the few places in the area that's affordable AND fills you up. Not fancy but not trying to be, if you're looking for meals in the area on the regular THIS is the place.

La Parada Express is a hidden gem in Brooklyn, close to the bell house. They serve fresh and delicious food until 6:30 pm. The Cubano sandwich is a must-try, with thinly sliced ham, tender pork, and pickles on a crispy hoagie roll. The portions are generous, and the staff is friendly. Cash only, but worth it for a taste of home-cooked Puerto Rican meals like stew chicken and roasted pork. A nostalgic and satisfying dining experience awaits at La Parada Express.
