L'Algeroise French pâtisserie

Came in tonight to grab cheesecake. Just wanted something sweet before I fly out tomorrow. The guy behind the counter was above and beyond anything I expected. We left better than ever. His recommendations and explanation of the items were impeccable. Came in expecting little left wowed and our taste buds bellies have never been more delighted.

Reasonably priced French style pastries. I've been coming here since it opened in the neighborhood, I can't recommend it enough. Personally, I like their strawberry and blueberry tarts, and my brothers really enjoy their cheesecake and tiramisu. The croissants are so crispy, even after reheating. There's a slight discount if you're using cash.

For many years I love that place . My daughter was a tiny baby when I used to come here to grab some coffee and croissants 🥐. Now my daughter is almost 4, we come together to eat some cakes. From many bakeries we prefer exactly this one. For her 3 yo bday party at Kindergarten we ordered cake from this bakery and everyone loved it.
Always great service and very friendly staff.
Only 1 minus - no restroom , a bit complicated when you come with little kids. Everything else is perfect 👌

Stopped by this patisserie for the first time on New Year’s Day to pick up some desserts for a family gathering, and not even exaggerating: everything was incredible. We picked up a few mixed fruit tarts, strawberry tarts, blueberry tarts, lemon tarts, 1 vanilla eclair and 1 pistachio eclair. The lemon tart really stood out to me with the perfect balance of lemon and creme. The mixed fruit tart is also my new favorite thing.

In fact all the pastries were SO GOOD my sister insisted on going before they closed to grab more lemon tarts. Sadly, it was the end of the day so most of the pastries were sold out. She did end up getting some coconut tarts, and said they were also super good.

I usually don’t leave such winded reviews but I had to do it for this spot. Thank you for blessing Brooklyn with your delicious pastries 😂

A piece of North Africa in Brooklyn. Not a lot of Algerian food places. Great coffee and pastries with that French influence.
