“With so many great coffee shops around, this one is my favorite. Cozy with soft music and local kid art on the walls. Great coffee and service. There is a small step to get in and gets hard with a stroller, someone always runs over to offer help. Absolutely adore this place“

“So sad to learn that it's closing. I only got to visit it twice across two yrs because I'm not usually in this neighborhood, but it was no doubt to me that they had the best almond croissant in the city. Plus quality was consistent. Croissant pressed but still fresh, with loads of sliced almonds perfectly toasted (unlike those pale soggy five almond slices that many bakeries are trying to sell on a stale croissant for $8). And most importantly no almond extract. Their almond croissants are PURE.

As I'm writing this up, I still taste it in my mouth.“

“Soldiers is getting bad, I'm not sure if they changed the chef but I waited all week to get the stew peas and rice which had no seasoning, none, not even salt and pepper in when I call to inform the Of this error they had attitude think I was going to move my car and come back for a refund (which is what they hope for) 2nd Saturday morning 9am I buy food because I don't want stale food 2nd time the fried dumpling are drenched in cold oil and and then breakfast cold Not sure what you want to do but but uncooked hard meat is killing black folks and not listening isnt working neither.“

“I absolutely love PEP. Honestly, I love everything about this place — the pastries, the macarons, the coffee, and even the porridge.

I especially want to highlight the pastries and macarons — they are always incredibly fresh. My absolute favorite are the guava macarons. They are just perfect every single time.

I also want to thank the baristas for their amazing work. All the girls are so welcoming, polite, and always open to a little small talk, which makes the experience even more special. You can really feel the positive energy.

Unfortunately, I forgot the name of my favorite barista — she has dark red hair — but her coffee is always the best ❤️ She somehow makes it taste even better every time.

PEP is truly one of my favorite spots, and I always look forward to coming back.“
