Mademoiselle’s Coffee is a favorite cafe in the area and a relaxing oasis in Brooklyn. Located in the best part of the Pfizer building, it has a clean, calm energy with soft tones and a simple setup. The vibe is smooth from start to finish, with no hype, just solid and consistent. The staff are genuine, professional, warm, and friendly. The coffee is wonderful and fresh, and the pastries are excellent, truly European, and baked upstairs. The baked goods are light and not oppressively sweet. Specific items include the “choco flan,” which is life changing, a croissant sandwich, macarons, and a cute pumpkin pastry. There are healthy selections like yogurt and salads, and vegetarian friendly options are available. The cafe is peaceful enough for a conversation with a friend and a good spot for people watching out the big window. It is an incredible ambience of French cuisine at its best.
